SAG Awards 2016

The Academy Awards, or the Oscars, are coming soon. But last night a lot of celebrities were dressed up for the SAG Awards. Some really went all out and looked amazing (Maisie Williams, Christina Ricci) while some failed miserably (Lori Petty, Nicole Kidman). Which dress is your favorite and which outfit is your least favorite?

MET Gala 2015

The theme this year at the MET Gala 2015 was Oriental but it might as well could've been fugly, because the dresses this year were absurd. I feel like they become even more weird and ugly every year. Some of the dresses were acceptable and some even nice. But the most celebrities were outfits I wouldn't dare wearing. Then again some were a little bit too much on the safe side. Olivia Wilde for H & M Conscious Collection

Olivia Wilde is the new model for the latest Conscious Collection from H & M. The Conscious Collection is an exclusive environmental clothing line from H & M and usually has beautiful pieces. The collection will be available from April 16. This line will be all about the dress and you can't blame H & M since the first dress is gorgeous! The materials from the line are of course more environmental friendly, hence the name being Conscious Collection.

T(w)o cute with Lauren Conrad

I found two new collections from Lauren Conrads clothing line. Lauren Conrad teamed up with Disney and Kohl's to create a collection based on Cinderella. The collection is very cute, but I always think the collections from Lauren Conrad are very cute.

Rita Ora for Adidas

Rita Ora has made another collection with Adidas. We're used to colorful outfits from Rita Ora and that's the best way to describe this collection: colorful. I'm all about colors and prints but this collection isn't my cup of tea. Nevertheless, all these colors make me quite happy.

Oscars of pretty dresses

Finally, the award shows of the award shows: The Acadamy Awards. Also known as the Oscars. The award show is the biggest show of the award season and celebrity's always look forward to the show. I always look forward to the dresses. Most celebrity's really go all out with the Oscars, more than with other award shows.

Glitter & Glam at the BAFTA Awards

I didn't blog about the BAFTA Awards last year but I saw some amazing dresses (and very fugly) so you know, I just have to blog this year. Don't worry, I'm not gonna blog about every freakin' (pardon my French) award show. But the BAFTA Awards is a pretty prestigious award ceremony right before the Oscars right? So lets start.

Ellie Goulding is starring in a Nike campaign. The British singer is quite the fitness enthusiastic, so the choice for the campaign makes sense. Goulding has run five half-marathons in the past. In the first two pictures she wears a more colourful ensemble, but the rest of the outfits are quite dark. 

SAG Awards 2015

Just when I thought the next award show would be the Oscars, I suddenly saw pictures of the SAG awards. There were some refreshing outfits, like the jumpsuit Julia Roberts wore. Jennifer Aniston showed cleavage again. I normally not a big fan of a lot of cleavage, but it's an interesting choice for Jennifer who usually (except for this award season) always stays with a safe choice.

Golden Globes Awards 2015

I completely forgot the Golden Globes Awards were on yesterday. Not that I would watch it, but I love seeing the dresses of the women who went. The lovely thing about the internet is, that you don't need to watch the show but you can still see the dresses. And here I am, presenting most of the outfits women wore to the Golden Globes Awards 2015. As always, red was a popular color. But this year there were also a lot of outfits with metallics. Here come the Emmy's

It's time for some pretty dresses again. The Emmy Awards aired yesterday in the States. Award shows are always fun, because you get to see the celebs all dressed up. Especially when it's the Emmy's or the Oscars. The MTV Video Music Awards and the People Choice Awards are far more laid back. Even though with the latter shows you get wackier outfits. With award shows like the Emmy's the outfits aren't that wacky. Now let's look at a lot of pictures!

The crazy and pretty dresses at Met Gala

The Met Gala always brings out the wackiest outfits which is always fun to look at. In between the madness I saw some beautiful dresses. But mostly crazy ones. There is always a theme and I'm a little bit fuzzy why, since most celebs don't even bother with the theme. The theme: White Tie And Decorations, it was an ode to Anglo-American designer Charles James. Warning: loads of pictures ahead!

And finally, the Oscars! Yes, last night we could enjoy some wonderful dresses, cringeworthy moments (John Travolta not getting Idina Menzel's name right, Jennifer Lawrence tripping again) and some fun moments (Ellen Degeneres taking a selfie, collecting money for a pizza and handing out pizza with Brad Pitt). But the dresses are always the highlight of the show right?
