Outfits of the week: Week 13

Weather like this means wearing all of my faux leather jackets. I love faux leather jackets, that's why I have several so many of them.

Sale time! I recently bought a lot of these vests and I even ordered two more. While these vests aren't really warm, they're still very nice. Both were on sale for € 7,- and were originally € 14,99. I also didn't have to pay forwarding charges.

Outfits of the week: Week 44

It was super foggy on Sunday but that gave the pictures an super spooky vibe. Funny, because it was the day after Halloween. I didn't celebrate Halloween though. Never have and it wasn't that big in the Netherlands until the last couple of years. So no Halloween outfits in this post. I also only have 3 outfits to show. But better than none right?

Outfits of the week: Week 31

There was a big storm on last Saturday and you could still see tree branches everywhere in my neighbourhood. It was a big summer storm. The weather was pretty good this week though. Quite warm, even though there was a lot of rain as well. It was again with a lot of work, but I also went shopping on Thursday!

My H & M wishlist

Instead of a post with the newest article from H & M, I made a post about my wishlist from H & M. I wouldn't mind if some, if not all, of these items would end up in my closet. I can't wait to visit in H & M again! P.S. as usual, it's a pretty big wishlist. Whoops!

Crazy right? Shopping with this weather? It's around 30 degrees, which is insanely hot for the Netherlands. So flowy dresses, skirts, shorts and summery tops are everywhere. And even then you're still sweating. I needed some basic tops to go with summer shorts. I bought this white basic top at C & A for € 4,50.

Outfits of the week: Week 26

I can't believe week 26 has come and gone. The longest day has passed. And these first six months have gone so quickly as well. I can't believe we already passed the first half of 2015. It feels like the year just started, but it's everything but! This week I worked a lot again. I don't mind, but it feels repetitive writing it lol. But that's life! Besides working, I went to Jurassic World again. No regrets, the movie was still amazing the second time. I can't wait for part 2/5 (since it's technically a squeal to the Jurassic Park series). And these are the outfits I wore this week.

Outfits of the week: Week 24

I'm not following the weather these last few months. Some days are great temperature wise and then after a few days it starts to rain and it gets very cold. I haven't worn any of my great shorts. I haven't worn a lot of (summer) dresses or skirts. 

H & M summer sale

Summer has not started yet, which is a relief because the weather feels like fall save for some few days. But despite the bad weather, stores have started with the summer sale. Since summer weather can be as fickle as spring weather, the items I selected aren't super summerlike. But I wouldn't mind wearing these items during summer, whether the weather is good or not.

I get slightly jealous when I look back at my outfit of the week post from last year. Shorts and T-shirts weather. And dresses weather. The only time when it's shorts weather is when I have to work. That's another reason why I unfortunately don't have a lot of spring and summery outfit to post (yet?).

I went to Almere this week, a friend of mine celebrated her birthday and I worked a lot. I also gave a party with my sister M. and mother for my sister E.

Shopping in Almere! I completely forgot the sale will begin soon enough, but shopping is always nice. I didn't want to wait two or three weeks for sale to begin even if I would've remembered. Now about my purchases, I was finally successful at H & M again. That was a long time ago! I started at Primark, so let's begin with that.

Outfits of the week: Week 20

I had to work a lot this week, which means I don't have that many outfits to show. Extra work always means extra money which means shopping! I can't wait to go to Almere and Primark again. I also had sushi again and it was so good! 

Balmain for H & M

Balmain is the latest guest designer to work with H & M. Alexander Wang and Isabel Marant have been guest designers before him. These collections are always very popular and are limited editions. The clothes are more expensive, since they're more exclusive. However, usually these guest designers sell clothes which are far more pricier. H & M gives us the chance to buy these clothes somewhat affordable.

Summer jumpsuits

I already own a jumpsuit, but I really want another jumpsuit. It's also known as a romper. I found some really cute ones at H & M and also for a really affordable price. They're only € 14,99!

Outfits of the week: Week 19

I felt very sick on Sunday so that's why I postponed wearing the outfit I had in mind for Sunday, by wearing it on Monday. I went all pink for the new princess of Cambridge, just for the lolz. On Sunday the name was announced and I think it's a lovely name: Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Very touching that they, William & Catherine, honoured so many who are dear to them (Charles/Pippa, Elizabeth II and duh, Diana). Long story short, that's why I started Monday with an all pink outfit. Lets see what else I wore this week.

Outfits of the week: Week 18

This week it was Kingsday, well on Monday to be exact, and I really looked forward to it. And it was really worth it! I bought four new blazers.

Bohemian Fever with Imaan Hammam

Bohemian and the 70s trends are still going strong, so you might as well call a collection Bohemian Fever. And that's what H & M did. Dutch model Imaan Hammam is the face of this collection which is available online and in stores. The collection shows clothes which are very suited for the beach, which is something H & M thought as well. Hence the photoshoot on the beach. Can I just say (write) that I would love to visit these beaches. They also pick out the most wonderful locations for photoshoots. Enough about my rambling, here are the pictures.

Kingsday, the day after

April 27, 2015. My first Kingsday! It was the second Kingsday, but I had to work in 2014. When it was still called Queensday (which is the same holiday, but we now have a king as monarch, hence the change) I was in London in 2012 and in Rome in 2013. So the last Queensday/Kingsday I attended was in 2011. So I really wanted to again. I went to Amsterdam with my sisters, mother and aunt. And it was an amazing day!

Outfits of the week: Week 17

I worked extra and I visited a friend who made an amazing meal. We talked for so many hours and ate a lot. It was so nice! I also went for drinks with two other friends on a very sunny day. It's so great to sit outside, talk and just have a drink.
