Denim was very popular in the 90's. I was a proud owner of a denim dress back then. 90's still has been popular again for some time now. And when I spotted this cute denim skirt at C & A I wanted to have it like a little kid.

Outfits of the week: Week 31

There was a big storm on last Saturday and you could still see tree branches everywhere in my neighbourhood. It was a big summer storm. The weather was pretty good this week though. Quite warm, even though there was a lot of rain as well. It was again with a lot of work, but I also went shopping on Thursday!

Two dresses

I ordered two dresses at C & A (different sizes) and kept two, one I didn't even order! My mom ordered two dresses (different sizes) as well. She didn't like the dress, but I did so I kept that one. It might be strange to some of you, wearing a dress your mother liked. But honestly my mom has an amazing fashion sense. And the dress is just amazing. But I want to show you the black dress first.

I finally ordered something online again. I can't lie, I have done a lot of shopping this year, but it was mostly the old fashion way. I just bought it in stores rather than ordering stuff online. I sometimes have phases like that. I also was kinda disappointed by the H & M sale. I checked other online sales from stores as well but I didn't like the items enough to order it. Until I spotted this dress at C & A.

Crazy right? Shopping with this weather? It's around 30 degrees, which is insanely hot for the Netherlands. So flowy dresses, skirts, shorts and summery tops are everywhere. And even then you're still sweating. I needed some basic tops to go with summer shorts. I bought this white basic top at C & A for € 4,50.

Outfits of the week: Week 26

I can't believe week 26 has come and gone. The longest day has passed. And these first six months have gone so quickly as well. I can't believe we already passed the first half of 2015. It feels like the year just started, but it's everything but! This week I worked a lot again. I don't mind, but it feels repetitive writing it lol. But that's life! Besides working, I went to Jurassic World again. No regrets, the movie was still amazing the second time. I can't wait for part 2/5 (since it's technically a squeal to the Jurassic Park series). And these are the outfits I wore this week.

So after I bought the floral dress at C & A in the sale, I had to check again for other nice items. And I spotted this dark green floral print dress. My sister got the blue one in short sleeves last Saturday, which I loved as well. But it was completely sold out. I love the green version with long sleeves as well. And I can be proud at myself, because it was also available in dark green with short sleeves but I just bought this one.

I'm not following the weather these last few months. Some days are great temperature wise and then after a few days it starts to rain and it gets very cold. I haven't worn any of my great shorts. I haven't worn a lot of (summer) dresses or skirts.

At the beginning of last year I had no dress for a chic party and since then I have bought several. So I don't have to worry about wearing one dress to every wedding. I can choose! The best thing about this dress? It was on sale at C & A!

I went to Almere this week, a friend of mine celebrated her birthday and I worked a lot. I also gave a party with my sister M. and mother for my sister E.

Red is my favorite color. No doubt about it. It's not like everytime I see something in red I buy it. I do have to like. But usually I just love the red items. That said I think I own more clothes in the color blue than in the colour red.

I had to work a lot this week, which means I don't have that many outfits to show. Extra work always means extra money which means shopping! I can't wait to go to Almere and Primark again. I also had sushi again and it was so good!

I felt very sick on Sunday so that's why I postponed wearing the outfit I had in mind for Sunday, by wearing it on Monday. I went all pink for the new princess of Cambridge, just for the lolz. On Sunday the name was announced and I think it's a lovely name: Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Very touching that they, William & Catherine, honoured so many who are dear to them (Charles/Pippa, Elizabeth II and duh, Diana). Long story short, that's why I started Monday with an all pink outfit. Lets see what else I wore this week.

Chic dresses at C & A

Only a few weeks back I wrote about a beautiful spring/summer dresses collection C & A had. Some of these dresses were quickly all sold out. I was right on time buying my floral dress and I'm still so happy with it, even though I've only worn it once. C & A has now launched another collection with again very chic, beautiful dresses.

This week it was Kingsday, well on Monday to be exact, and I really looked forward to it. And it was really worth it! I bought four new blazers.

Mid season sale

Mid season sale time! I already showed some of the mid season sale from H & M, now I'm showing some pieces from the sale from other stores. Stores like Forever 21, Zara, Mango, stores that have nice clothes and when the clothes are on sale, they get even better! Because they're cheaper.

After a busy family weekend, I had a quiet Monday. Game of Thrones started again and I watched the first episode of the new season with my sister. The first four episodes have already leaked, but we only watched the first one. I also went to the dentist this week

This week it was Easter, my mother was celebrating her birthday and I had a family weekend this week, which was great fun but was also quit tiring because all of the talking. A busy but fun week.

Outfits of the week: Week 14

Wow, it was super windy on Monday and Tuesday. It seriously felt like fall and not like spring. This is the first week of April right? If you would tell me it's October or November I would almost believe you. Almost, since the sun goes down way later so I know it's not fall. Still, you could've fooled me. 

C & A spring/summer dresses

My sister got married last year and I searched for a wonderful 'bridesmaid' (my sister didn't have bridesmaids, but it's easier to write this). I searched everywhere and luckily readers pitched in as well with suggestions for places with cute dresses. But then I suddenly found one at C & A. It was a cute floral summery dress with a pettycoat (I love those!) and it was € 59,90. Reasonably priced for a special occasion dress (though I feel like wearing it in summer whenever I want). And this year they again have special occasion dresses for a great price.
