Outfits of the week: Week 26

I can't believe week 26 has come and gone. The longest day has passed. And these first six months have gone so quickly as well. I can't believe we already passed the first half of 2015. It feels like the year just started, but it's everything but! This week I worked a lot again. I don't mind, but it feels repetitive writing it lol. But that's life! Besides working, I went to Jurassic World again. No regrets, the movie was still amazing the second time. I can't wait for part 2/5 (since it's technically a squeal to the Jurassic Park series). And these are the outfits I wore this week.

I'm not following the weather these last few months. Some days are great temperature wise and then after a few days it starts to rain and it gets very cold. I haven't worn any of my great shorts. I haven't worn a lot of (summer) dresses or skirts.

I just wrote about fake All Stars and now I found out Trekpleister has real All Stars on sale, for a nice price.I have no problem with buying fake ones, but whenever I spot the real ones on sale it get tempted to buy the real ones.

Fake All Stars @ Bristol

A while ago I wrote about fake All Stars Converse or knock-offs. Nowadays a lot of stores have fake All Stars. I used to own a lot from Scapino but I got rid of them a few years ago. And I bought real ones. After a while I bought fake ones again at Van Haren. Because I can't walk all day on All Stars so why should I pay so much money for real ones. Besides, I like so many colors, I don't mind buying fake ones because that is cheaper. But when I see real ones for a nice price and in a color I love, I don't mind buying those either.

Outfits of the week: Week 20

I had to work a lot this week, which means I don't have that many outfits to show. Extra work always means extra money which means shopping! I can't wait to go to Almere and Primark again. I also had sushi again and it was so good! 

Knock-off All Stars

You might have seen them on my blog since I'm a big fan: the knock-offs All Stars from Van Haren. A lot of shoe brands have knock-offs from the popular brand and who can blame them. All Stars always look great, match with almost everything, they come in so many colors and prints, they are sneakers but don't look like sport shoes and they can be very comfortable. I write can be comfortable, since my feet hurt after walking on them all day. But that might be different for others. Bottom line, All Stars go great with many outfits. But they can be expensive, especially if you like so many colors and don't want to wear the same color every day (like me). I used to buy knock-offs only, later I bought the real ones and finally I now have real ones and knock-offs. Van Haren has great knock-offs and I own several of them.

It's getting boring to write, but really the weather is still all over the place. On one day it's cold, the other day it's warmer and very sunny. It's really weird, just let spring really begin. Because while spring has begun, the weather keeps going back and forth. Really annoying. Now enough about the weather and let's move on to my outfits this week.

White sneakers

White sneakers are very popular right now. Especially the Adidas Stan Smith and Superstar sneakers are very trendy. They may remind some people of tennis shoes, but the fashion world embraced white sneakers for the cool sneakers they are. At least for now. I gotta confess, they're growing on me as well. I collected some other amazing white sneakers for this post. Two of them are actually for men, but sneakers are pretty much unisex so you could still wear them and nobody will notice.

I finally went to Almere again, where I didn't only shop, but also founded my company. I'm now a freelance copywriter and if you're interested, just send me a message. I also got a haircut! I was saying I should get a new haircut for months and now I finally did it. You can read more about my hair story here.

Another pair of fake All Stars from Van Haren? Yes, that's right. Another pair! This time I went for low dark red/dark purple sneakers (depends on how you see colors, I think the sneakers have a little bit of both).

Remember all those fake All Stars I bought last year at Van Haren? Like these white ones or these off white and black ones? After barely shopping at the beginning of the year, I feel like I'm catching up. Not that it's a competition, but whenever I think okay, I have enough, something always catches my eye. And then I buy it. So I was surprised I barely bought something at the beginning of January. But I'm on a roll now, since I bought two new pair of shoes.

This really was an exciting week, because it was the week I had my driving exam! So I had a lot of driving lessons this last few weeks, or months. Driving didn't come natural to me. I was scared at first and it took me a while to get used to the car. I didn't drive in an automatic, which would've been easier, but automatics are less common in Europe. So if I could only drive in an automatic, I wouldn't be able to drive in most cars. That's why I didn't want to learn how to drive in an automatic. But Wednesday it was the day I had my driving exam.

Some parts of the Netherlands had snow late December. The snow didn't come here. But this week it finally did. I'm usually not a big fan of snow. I purely wanted snow for the outfit pictures. Yes, I'm a fashionblogger. There are so many beautiful outfit pictures with snow online. I wanted that as well and this week I got my wish.

This week finally felt like a normal week. It did feel good after the busy days with Christmas and New Years Eve. The weather on the first few pictures doesn't look horrible, but the weather was often absolutely shit. There has been a crazy wind almost all week and it's still going strong unfortunately. The wind also creates hilarious pictures, so that's a plus. And again you can see my face on the pictures. I want to thank everybody for the amazing sweet comments on my post from last week. Thank you so much! It really meant a lot to me and I'm less anxious about showing my face :)!

Outfits of the week: Week 49

I went shopping this week and it was a big success. It was also very cold and whenever I'm making outfit pictures I wish we could go back to summer. It's not just the cold weather, but the sun is also nowhere to be seen. Making outfit pictures isn't that great either when the weather is absolutely drab and when it gets dark early. Lets hope that at least the sun will come back pretty soon!

I feel like it suddenly has become winter. It was so cold this week (and still is). I also feel like the temperatures were still quite okay last week. I don't know, I might be wrong. But it is so cold.

Dinner, shopping and hopefully no more schoolwork? This week was a great week. I lacked motivation at the beginning of the week, but I finally managed to finish my last school project. Now I'll just have to wait if everything is good. Exciting!

It's October already. The tenth month... If you weren't think about fall, I think that will change soon. The temperatures have already dropped here. Even though last week I could still wear outfits you would expect during colder summer days. I think next week outfit of the week will be different because I'm already wearing a cardigan. Let's not skip ahead and go back to week 40.

This week is week with coats. Even though it wasn't that cold. I just wore a lot of coats and sometimes I just want to show you. Since this was the week of coats, I also bought a new one. Oops!
