Denim was very popular in the 90's. I was a proud owner of a denim dress back then. 90's still has been popular again for some time now. And when I spotted this cute denim skirt at C & A I wanted to have it like a little kid.

If you still need some denim on denim inspiration, fear not. Mango showed inspiration before, but Zara is now here to help you out if you weren't so sure of the trend just yet. Or you might still not like this trend, but you can always get inspiration for other outfits. Some of these looks are very 70s, which is the trend now as well. But some of these looks feel more like 80s to me.

Mango Spring 2015 lookbook with Anna Ewers

Last, Daria Werbowy showed the lookbook from the spring and summer 2014 collection from Mango. This year it's model Anna Ewers. The trends are white, 70s, denim and wide items. We already had a look at some parts of the collection here, but now you can see the collection modelled by Anna Ewers.I love this lookbook, despite not being overtly excited by the earlier lookbook for spring 2015.

I love jeans, but I also love jackets. I also love denim jackets, even though I only have one. But how much denim jackets does one person need? I thought at least more than one. I have one from H & M, which I bought in 2012. It's kinda dark and short. But I also wanted a lighter one. I have searched for one, but I usually thought I already have one when I looked at the price.

Love thy denim

I love polkadot, colorful pants, floral prints and T-shirt. But the love for clothing items I have since forever is definitely denim. Most specifically jeans. Not that weird, if you consider that in the Netherlands people love their jeans. They're acceptable in most work places (not all). So don't be surprised if you see a lot of people who are Dutch wearing jeans. However during summer jeans might be a little hot. That's why playsuit are so handy, especially if you're not into dresses and skirts (like I was). This playsuit from New Look isn't denim, it's viscose.

It looks like a denim playsuit and that's why it caught my eye. It's € 29,99 at New Look.

The Dungarees

The dungarees, love or hate them. I know as a kid I absolutely hated them. My mom thought they were cute and I had to wear them but I hated those things. Ah, but times can change. When I see bloggers wearing denim dungarees they always style them in an amazing way. I especially love the denim dungarees, but I'm not sure if I can pull them of. And am I ready for them after hating the dungarees for so long? Perhaps if I buy one, I should start with the short version of dungarees.

Animal print, bohemian chic, denim and sailor chic are trends we can except this spring and summer according to H & M. They selected great items. This is only making me crave a good old fashioned shopping spree even more! Online shopping isn't just the same. Of course seeing this pictures are great for inspiration as well. Take a look at your items in your closet and perhaps you come up with new ideas!

It's all about denim

This package came right in time, since I was going out with colleagues and had no clue what to wear. But my denim blouse came in and I wore it. Love it, so different than just a denim blouse.

50 % of on selected items. Yes, H & M has another great action. I saw this great denim blouse, but didn't want to order it. So my mom did! This blouse was 12,45 euros. Normally it's 24,95 euros. Including forwarding charges it's 17,35 euros.

Sweater wheater

I was wondering when H & M would send this sweater to me, and lo and behold. Suddenly it arrived! Two other sweaters were in the package as well, so I'm all set for a possible cold winter. It's been hinted at the Dutch television for weeks that we will be freezing our ass of very soon, but nothing happened as of yet. I'm more the summery type, so naturally I'm quite happy it's not that cold (yet). Let's hope it stays this way.

A box in a box

When I came home from shopping in Almere, the postman tried to deliver a package but nobody was home to accept it. Luckily, the next day my packages were delivered again and I was at home.

If spring begins, I will have quite the collection of skirts and dresses. But one more is always good right? This one was only 6 euros at the H & M webshop, in the sale. It used to be 19,95 euros. Belt is in included. So you have a cute skirt with belt for only 6 euros!

I think I'm doing a good job with filling my closet with my current obsessions: skirt and dresses. Nevertheless, I can always use more clothes, more skirts and more dresses. That's why I ordered something again! I should stop with ordering now though!

 

I think this denim dress is really cute, it reminds me of my childhood. I used to wear a denim dress all the time. I tried on the light version of this dress in Utrecht. I was in a hurry, so I couldn't really decide whether I liked it or not. I decided not to buy it. I'm glad, because I think this one looks better because it's a tad darker. This dress is now on sale, for 12 euros. It was originally 19,90 euros.
