The Houndstooth coat

This year I saw several houndstooth coats at different stores. None of them really appealed to me, even though I would like to try a houndstooth coat. Most of the coats were very baggy and long. They would probably look like my grandmothers coat or something. Sure, enough women can pull of that look. I (unfortunately) am not one of them. This houndstooth coat from Noisy May, which I spotted at the Vero Moda webshop, is less baggy and looks amazing.

Outfits of the week: Week 11

Sunny, with a chance of wind. Pretty much describes the weather in the Netherlands last week. But it's not technically spring yet, so I'm not worried. I do enjoy the fact the it doesn't get dark so early. Love it! Aside from the sunny weather, I went bowling with colleagues and as usual, I was really busy with school work ( I had to stop for a while, because the questions didn't come through anymore).

I went shopping with my mother in Lelystad today. I had the day off from work and I actually had to work on something for school. But I just wanted to relax for a little bit. So we went to the H & M in Lelystad. The H & M there is really small and I couldn't find something I like, unfortunately. I ended up buying new clothes though, just not from the H & M. And I visited a store where I haven't been in years, the New Yorker. I used to come there a lot, but after a while I didn't like the clothes anymore. Then I saw a blogger wearing something really cute from the New Yorker and I decided I wanted to take a look myself.

Is it October already? September started and was over before I even realised it! Last month went by so quickly. 

New coat (again)

It looked amazing in the store, there was a great discount and suddenly this amazing jacket landed in my shopping bag and arrived on Saturday. 

  

New coat!

Today I got my coat! Yeah, I was checking the website at H & m all the time, but it was really sold out. Except in the sizes 44 and 46. So I looked at Marktplaats instead, which is like the Dutch Ebay (except we have Ebay as well). This is the coat I'm talking about.

I went shopping today in Utrecht and I got a mail during my train ride to Utrecht from the H & M. They had a 50 % discount on selected items. One of them was this lovely jacket with fake leather sleeves. Off course the temptation was too big.

I just had to buy another fake leather jacket. I mean, this was only 20 euros on the webshop. And I used a discount, so it was only 14,90 including the forwarding charges. Cheap right? Love this coat. It used to be 39,95 euros.
