Favorite outfits of 2015

So yeah, 2015 has passed. The first month of 2016 has passed. But I still wanted to post this post. It's fun to look back. So even though we're already living in 2016, I'm gonna look back on my outfits of 2015. Of course I was slacking on the blogging department, so I don't have outfits from the whole year. But you'll see I have plenty to show anyway. Also 2015 was the first year I showed my face with outfit pictures. I don't regret it, well sometimes if I have a horrible hairday. Even though I'm no model, I do think the pictures look better with my face on it. Be careful, 'cause here comes the pic scam!

A winter with Aztec scarfs

I'm having a scarf obsession at the moment. Which is great, since the weather in the Netherlands can be very cold. So it's nice to have a big scarf you can wrap yourself in and stay warm. Since the last two, three years big scarves are hot. Which I love, because I hate the cold. So I bought a lot of scarves lately (some of them are more appropriate for fall though). Even though I already owned a lot of scarves which I still love. I'm still crazy about my Aztec scarfs from H & M. Like this brown one and this white one from H & M (I can't believe it was two years ago I ordered the brown one and a year ago I ordered the white one). They're still top favorites with cold weather. But I gotta admit, when I spotted these ones I was like: I want!

My H & M wishlist

Instead of a post with the newest article from H & M, I made a post about my wishlist from H & M. I wouldn't mind if some, if not all, of these items would end up in my closet. I can't wait to visit in H & M again! P.S. as usual, it's a pretty big wishlist. Whoops!

Gigi Hadid for Topshop

Model Gigi Hadid is the new face for Topshop. She is the new face of the Autumn/Winter Collection 2015. This collection will be sold from August 20. While new collections are always exciting, I'm so not in the mood for fall. And based on this collection, I feel like Topshop isn't ready for fall either. I always wonder why a lot of fashion brands still show mostly summer clothes in their fall collection. When most of the time during fall, it's colder than during summer.

River Island lookbook fall/winter 2015

I think I only visited the River Island store once. I didn't really like the clothes and I thought it was a little bit on the pricey side. I'm not a big fan of this lookbook and not a big fan of the previous lookbooks. Yet, I'm posting this because others might like this lookbook and River Island. The fall/winter collection shows some 70s items, guess we're gonna continue this trend after the summer is over. The lookbook also shows kinda out there combinations and a lot of fishnet stockings. I hope those won't become trendy though.

Inspiration for sweater weather

On days like these, when it's super cold outside and it's raining and the weather is just ugh, I often want to grab a sweater and jeans. Just a simple, basic outfit. But I also want to challenge myself to make some less basic outfits. Although there is nothing wrong with basic and I sometimes love to wear it. Just not everyday. I found some inspiration on Topshop. The first picture isn't very practical without pants though.

Best outfits of 2014

It was so hard to make a choice in my best outfits of 2014. I already knew this after the first week of 2014. A top 15 wasn't possible because I simply couldn't chose only 15 outfits. I did make a selection 'cause I'm not showing all my favorite outfits. Nevertheless, looking back, I don't like all of my outfits this year. Some failed, some were basic and while I love basic, I don't like those outfits for this post.

Vero Moda sale

Sale time! I'm showing items from Vero Moda. I always love their lookbooks, I'm just not super into their collections anymore. Up until two years ago I bought a lot at Vero Moda, but the prices went up and the quality and items (sorta) remained the same. I can buy the same sort of clothes at H & M (sometimes) and Primark for less.

Beginning of winter

The astronomical winter actually started yesterday, but it's not too late for this post yet. I always love using Pinterest for inspiration. Sometimes I just don't know what to wear. Plus, when it gets really cold I still want to look good. Sometimes this can be a challenge since I don't want to freeze to death either. I found some nice pictures from other bloggers on Pinterest and I wanted to share these winter outfits. Most of these outfits show jeans, tartan, stripes and cozy sweaters. Skirts and dresses can be so cold in the winter, so jeans are more practical.

Oh summer, where art thou?

I warned myself a few months again during the summer, when it was so warm you couldn't do anything, I would gonna miss summer. It was so crazy hot back then that I longed for some other temperatures. I didn't want winter either. I don't mind wearing cozy sweaters and fluffy vests, but when I go outside it's so cold. Too cold. So I'm longing for summer. Just not the crazy hot temperatures either. To remind myself of nicer temperatures, I collected my favorite summer outfits. I wore some outfits when it was really warm and some outfits when it was a little bit colder. Roshe Run for in the winter

I love my Roshe Run from Nike. I love my black and pink versions and they're super comfortable. But now the weather is colder, I have to make sure I wear warm socks. Because other wise my toes will freeze off. The sneakers are ventilated, which is great in the spring, summer and early fall. But not so much in the winter. Sure, warm socks are a solution. 

Sarenza lookbook fall/winter 2

Sarenza has another lookbook which I wanted to share with you. According to Sarenza, these four trends will be hot this fall and winter. The trends are masculine, chelsea, (faux) leather, closed boots or cut out boot. I definitely want to try chelsea boots, though not the one shown in the lookbook. I also still want to try cut out boots. Love the edgy look they have.

Back to school with Zara

September is coming and that means school will be starting for loads of people. Zara kept that in mind while making this lookbook for the TRF collection. This collection is still quite bright for fall. I like the fact that the colors are not merely black, white and grey. The women collection for Zara was quite dark.

Vila lookbook fall/winter

Vila is not a store I visit. I'm not sure why. Because based on this lookbook I should. The lookbook doesn't show a colourful collection, but that's normal for fall/winter collections. Grey, black, dark brown and dark green are often used for the colder seasons. This collection looks chic, but not too chic. Nice for work, but enough items are totally wearable for a girls night out. I probably haven't checked out earlier collections, because I didn't know where the Vila store was. But Google is my friend and I found several locations. I will take a peek at the store. Cara Delevingne for Topshop

Cara Delevingne has been a model who has been popular for a while now. She has done several large campaigns. Now she teamed up with Topshop. She is the model in the lookbook for the fall/winter collection of Topshop. I think it was a good choice, because I think the lookbook looks great. It doesn't look too much like fall clothes, but just regular clothing. Probably because the background doesn't look too much like fall either. I like the clothes as well, though I admit they don't look very spectacular. But that is why I like them.

Preview Sarenza lookbook fall/winter collection

It still feels weird seeing platforms everywhere. But most people who witnessed the 70's and 80's must've thought the same when kids were wearing platforms in the 90's and 00's. Based on the preview of the lookbook from Sarenza, I don't think platforms are going anywhere (no pun intended). These pictures are from the new fall/winter collection. Yes people, we're going to a new season. I already see loads of new lookbooks which I think is exciting. But I'm gonna miss summer (not when it's crazy hot though) so I'm gonna enjoy it while it's still here.

Mango Fashion Show

Here I am, enjoying the very hot weather in the Netherlands and at the same time looking at the pictures from the Mango Fashion Show which shows the winter collection of 2014/2015. The collection exists out of a lot of black clothes, which isn't surprising for a winter collection. It's also a little bit fancy, which fits Mango because it usually is a little bit fancy yet mainstream and reasonable priced.

Winter collection of New Look

Enjoy the beautiful weather while it lasts, because fashion houses are slowly sharing their new collections of fall/winter 2014. This time I present you the winter lookbook of New Look. It has filters on every picture, so the colors look different. I see a lot of spring and summer items, you'll freeze if you were it under 30 degrees of Celsius. I guess New Look is hoping for a warm winter? But the lookbook also shows warm coats and sweaters.

Mango lookbook fall 2014

In a couple of days it will be the longest day, which means the sun will be shining the longest on this day. After that, the sun will go down earlier at night and we're moving towards fall and winter. Something which most people don't really look forward to and I'm one of them. What I do like, is the new collections. The sad thing about most fall and winter collections is that the colors are often dark. Which is the case of the new lookbook from Mango which showcases the fall collection of 2014. But it also shows lovely coats. My weakness!

Scarf weather

Just in time for the cold weather! My tartan scarf from the H & M came in. 

It's not as huge and warm as my other scarf, so I won't be wearing my new tartan scarf if it's freezing outside. But it's warm enough when it's above the freezing point. And it looks amazing with this coat from the New Yorker.
