Outfits of the week: Week 47

On Saturday I had the day off again. So I went to Lelystad, for a little bit of shopping. I wasn't really in the mood to finish my paper. Even though I really have to work on it from now on.

In my opinion you can never have too much jeans. Jeans go perfect with every outfit. You can wear stylish jeans, casual or ripped jeans. Dark jeans or light jeans, skinny, bootcut, flare jeans etc. The bottom line is, it's great that women can wear these items without being stared at because they're not supposed to wear them (50 years ago it was a complete different story, being a woman and wearing jeans). So hooray for jeans!

And there it was... Another package! I believe I ordered something from the H & M website every week for the last three months and almost every week a package was delivered. At least I keep the economy rolling, right?

The classic black ankle boots

Black goes with everything, it's such a cliché but so true. That's why I wanted these great ankle boots I ordered in red as well. Perhaps you already spotted them when I showed my huge online order.

I went shopping with my mother in Lelystad today. I had the day off from work and I actually had to work on something for school. But I just wanted to relax for a little bit. So we went to the H & M in Lelystad. The H & M there is really small and I couldn't find something I like, unfortunately. I ended up buying new clothes though, just not from the H & M. And I visited a store where I haven't been in years, the New Yorker. I used to come there a lot, but after a while I didn't like the clothes anymore. Then I saw a blogger wearing something really cute from the New Yorker and I decided I wanted to take a look myself.

I had to work on school in my weekend. That is like the worst when you work five days a week. At least I didn't have to work at my other job.

After realizing the flower skirt was so cute, I ordered this basic black skirt. Very simple and basic, but that's the beauty of this skirt. Because you can wear a funky and colorful top with this skirt. It's from Divided and it was 14,95. I ordered it online and had to pay forwarding charges. So I'll have to pay 19,85 euros. I don't have to worry about the size, because it's the same skirt as the flower one. I only have to wait for it to arrive, it might be in at the end of December or the beginning of January. But you never know with the H & M! It might come sooner.

Huge package coming through!

I had no idea H & M delivered boxes. But when I saw this box when I came home, I swear, it was like an (very) early Christmas gift. In October I got a huge package as well, but that wasn't delivered in a box. This one was and it was so amazing! What was inside the package was even more fun!

Oops. I ordered something again! I ordered these really cool black ankle wedges. The platform is 2,5 cm and the heel is 9,5 cm. So quite high (at least for me). But they look so cool.

Are you surprised I ordered the red ankle boots in black? I'm not. They're so much easier to combine. I'm still waiting for the red boots to be delivered. So I'm not sure whether they're the right size. But I will find soon I hope. Although H & M combined these orders and I'm especially bummed that they combined with the nice vest because that one might be delivered in January. Yeah that's right. 2014. Yes... And that means the rest of my order won't come either before 2014. But they keep switching the dates. Yesterday the site said beginning of December. But who knows. It won't arrive until it arrives.

I had a cold this week. I was hoarse and sounded like a smoker. Sorry to all the smokers. And I was coughing and sniffing like a maniac. So disgusting! 

 

Package: New Ankle Boots

I ordered these ankle wedges/boots with fur and I have to admit I was kinda let down when I saw the shoes. I expected brown shoes, but I got khaki or grayish instead. They're really warm comfy, quite warm and quite high. But the color is very different than the picture.

My mom had an amazing surprise for me today. When I came home she said: "I really hope you'll like it". What was the surprise? A polkadot blazer from a secondhand store (kringloop for the Dutch people)! De Kringloop is basically a secondhand store but much cheaper (though it sometimes depends) and you (normally) don't get any money for the junk/old stuff you turn in. In that way it's different than the usual secondhand store. They also don't care whether it's H & M or Gucci. And they also sell furniture, dvd's (most of them don't sell VHS anymore) and just about everything.

Outfits of the week: Week 44

Finally sushi again! I really love sushi. The weird thing is, that I wasn't that big of fan when I ate it for the first time but when I went to a restaurant two years ago I became addicted. Besides eating sushi, I was planning to go to Utrecht on Monday but the weather was crazy! The trains stopped riding because it was so windy. We're not used to extreme wind so this was quite strange. Luckily you can order online in this digital age, so you don't have to go to stores. Even though I really like shopping in stores as well, I don't have the time at the moment.

H & M Guest Designer Collection - Isabel Marant

Today H & M launched a new guest designer collection. This time Isabel Marant was the designer. I must say that even though I love the H & M, I never really care that much about these designer collection. For starters they're quite expensive. I know they're cheaper than the normal price of the designer but still way overpriced. I didn't buy anything, though I really loved one jacket. But not for 299 euros. Some items would've been cute if they were cheaper. So let's just stare at the pictures right?

I always love it when H & M has new discounts or new items in the sale. This month they had a couple of times where selected items were 50 % cheaper. I saw these boots before on the site for 49,95 euros and while I liked the colour, I wasn't that sure of the fur at the top. Fur has a tendency to make outfits very tacky and normally I'm not a big fan of fur because of that reason (it's fake fur BTW, but I'm not that big of a fan of real or fake fur).

New actions on the H & M site! That's what I love about Mondays! They again had 50 % discount on selected items. I ordered two different things as well.

Outfits of the week: Week 43

This week among other things I had a party with colleagues. The weather was a bit weird, because it was kinda warm for the period of the year. A little bit unexpected, but nice. I like it when it's a normal temperature outside and your ass isn't freezing of. 

Package: Two sweaters

I had the day off from work and I was finally able to actually see a package get delivered! Only sad part was that the mail man didn't come to the door. He put the package in the mailbox. I wasn't fully dressed yet, because I was enjoying a lazy Saturday so it wasn't that bad. Off course I immediately went to the mailbox (I was watching out of my window when I heard a car coming, that's how I knew my package had arrived!) and was cursing when the shitty thing wouldn't open. At least I always stay calm (*sarcasm*) and nearly broke the mailbox.

I'm still searching for black boots. They fit with every outfit, always nice if you're in a hurry and just need shoes to go with your outfit. While I still think these brown ones are amazing, black boots are a basic necessity.

This scarf looks so cute and I told my mom I wanted to order it, but in the end I didn't. I'm kinda getting sick of my scarf I'm wearing at the moment, because I'm wearing it all the time. Boring!
