I could write a very long story about how I never post anymore, but I'm not in the mood. So here is the short version: I lost inspiration. So there ya go. I just lost my inspiration and didn't want to blog everyday. So I completely stopped. However I do want to blog about my outfits and purchases. And I have plenty of shoplogs! And this shoplog is about my souvenir from Canada.

A winter with Aztec scarfs

I'm having a scarf obsession at the moment. Which is great, since the weather in the Netherlands can be very cold. So it's nice to have a big scarf you can wrap yourself in and stay warm. Since the last two, three years big scarves are hot. Which I love, because I hate the cold. So I bought a lot of scarves lately (some of them are more appropriate for fall though). Even though I already owned a lot of scarves which I still love. I'm still crazy about my Aztec scarfs from H & M. Like this brown one and this white one from H & M (I can't believe it was two years ago I ordered the brown one and a year ago I ordered the white one). They're still top favorites with cold weather. But I gotta admit, when I spotted these ones I was like: I want!

Beginning of winter

The astronomical winter actually started yesterday, but it's not too late for this post yet. I always love using Pinterest for inspiration. Sometimes I just don't know what to wear. Plus, when it gets really cold I still want to look good. Sometimes this can be a challenge since I don't want to freeze to death either. I found some nice pictures from other bloggers on Pinterest and I wanted to share these winter outfits. Most of these outfits show jeans, tartan, stripes and cozy sweaters. Skirts and dresses can be so cold in the winter, so jeans are more practical.

Shopping time. Shopping time! After spending so much time after schoolwork and finishing it, it was time for some relaxing. I went to a nearby city for a quick little shopping spree. I was going to dinner with friends in the evening, but there was enough time in the afternoon for shopping.

Hot or not: the Poncho

Love or hate it, but the poncho is back. If often comes back in the winter. However you usually don't see the poncho in a lot of stores. This winter it's a very hot item. And with a poncho you can stay warm, so pun intended.

Two scarves and a shoplog

Spoiler alert, my scarf collection grew with three scarves today. I will stop writing about scarves for a while now (even though the Primark one with tartan and houndstooth is still on my wishlist). My online order from H & M finally arrived. And my mom called me when I was working on my schoolwork. She found an amazing scarf at Vero Moda. She send me a picture and I said yes, that one looks great. I did hesitate since I knew the package from H & M would arrive.

The tartan scarf

Tartan has made a comeback last year in mainstream fashion. It was never truly gone, but nowadays you see a lot more items. One thing that was very popular was the Zara tartan scarf. Now you have a good lookalike at Primark for less than 10 euros. I realize I just wrote about scarfs and I just ordered two. Which will come tomorrow, yay!

On the one hand I look forward to colder weather and on the other hand I don't. I like sweaters and I love the fact how in the winter you can feel really cozy when you're warm. But when the cold weather comes I crave summer. Yet when it's summer and it's really hot outside, I long for a more normal temperature. Also winters are the best when it's cold outside, but you're at home where it's warm. Long story short, after writing this post I want to order two scarfs I really liked.

Scarf weather

Just in time for the cold weather! My tartan scarf from the H & M came in. 

It's not as huge and warm as my other scarf, so I won't be wearing my new tartan scarf if it's freezing outside. But it's warm enough when it's above the freezing point. And it looks amazing with this coat from the New Yorker.

Since I'm still really loving the tartan trend, I wanted a tartan scarf as well. I saw a really cute on the H & M website, but I couldn't find the scarf in the stores. I decided to order the scarf online, since it was only 9,95 euros. So cheap. And it looks like a gigantic scarf and I'm so happy with my other big scarf.

Outfits of the week: Week 51

This week I went to my sister E. She celebrated her birthday with a very nice dinner. It was also very windy this week. Not that great when you want to shoot outfit photos! And how can I forget, I went shopping in Zwolle with my mom.

This scarf looks so cute and I told my mom I wanted to order it, but in the end I didn't. I'm kinda getting sick of my scarf I'm wearing at the moment, because I'm wearing it all the time. Boring!
