My H & M wishlist

Instead of a post with the newest article from H & M, I made a post about my wishlist from H & M. I wouldn't mind if some, if not all, of these items would end up in my closet. I can't wait to visit in H & M again! P.S. as usual, it's a pretty big wishlist. Whoops!

Kingsday, the day after

April 27, 2015. My first Kingsday! It was the second Kingsday, but I had to work in 2014. When it was still called Queensday (which is the same holiday, but we now have a king as monarch, hence the change) I was in London in 2012 and in Rome in 2013. So the last Queensday/Kingsday I attended was in 2011. So I really wanted to again. I went to Amsterdam with my sisters, mother and aunt. And it was an amazing day!

Outfits of the Week: Week 6

The snow was here again this week. I really thought we would've been past it, but I guess not. This was however probably the last week of snow this winter. I bought new sneakers this week and I went lunching with a friend.

I'm slightly embarrassed at how much I bought. It's a lot, but when you think about, most prices weren't that high. I did spend a lot of money, but I also bought a lot. If you follow me on Instagram, you perhaps already spotted the picture with the bags. I gotta confess, whenever I saw women with so many Primark bags I wondered if I ever would buy a lot at Primark. The last two times were also a bust, so I didn't have high hopes when I went to Primark today. And guess what? I bought amazing stuff at Primark.

The leatherlook blazer

The leatherlook trend is a trend which I really love. I already have two coats with leatherlook sleeves and I own faux leather pants. But I still want a leatherlook blazer. Last year H & M had a leatherlook blazer I wanted so badly. But it was sold out most of the time. When I finally tried one on in the store, I hesitated and didn't buy it. So my search for the perfect leatherlook blazer is still going strong.

I went to a thrift shop again today. It has been quite a while. I went to a thrift shop in January and I went to the same one today. This time I saw a lot of coats, which made me happy since I love coats. It can be a challenge to go through the items. Which look good, which don't? Are there any clothes I would like to wear? Sometimes you find something you like and sometimes you don't. I succeeded, just like the last time.

Outfits of the week: Week 36

It almost feels like the weather this week was better than the whole month in August. But August feels like ages ago, so what do I know? Well, I know it was quite cold for the year. And this week the weather was good. This has been going on the last couple of years (weather in August being awful and cold, September warm). So it's not that surprising.

Floral twins

Earlier this year I wore an amazing floral pantsuit from Zara. I bought the floral blazer and matching floral pants in the sale. My blazer from Zara isn't on sale anymore, but I found this floral blazer at Shenside. It looks almost exactly the same after a careful analysis of my own blazer. So if you liked the blazer from Zara, you might want to check this blazer out.

Shoplog in Antwerp

I went to Antwerp yesterday with a friend. We had a blast, ate so much food, walked a lot and we bought a lot of clothes! We chose the right weekend, because the sale (it's called solden in Belgium) just started. There was a lot more sale than in the Netherlands, which is always great. But the city and most specifically the stores where filled with people. There were long queues at fitting rooms and at the cash register. But luckily we stayed in a hotel so my friend came up with the idea to try on clothes in our hotel room and return them if they didn't fit the following day.

Because a polkadot sweater, a polkadot T-shirt, polkadot jeans, a polkadot tregging, a polkadot dress, a polkadot blouse and a polkadot blazer wasn't enough, I ordered another polkadot blazer at H & M. It's now on sale for € 10. It was originally € 19,95. The blazer is from Divided. I posted the blazer earlier on my blog in a post where I showed my favorite items from the H & M sale. You're not surprised I ordered something from the list right? I'm not.

Outfits of the week: Week 20

Wow, I wrote how awful the weather was in week 19 and this week was completely different. The weather was amazing, especially at the end of the week. It's so awesome to wear all my summer items: the dresses, shorts, skirts, top and T-shirts. Sure, I already wore some summery items. But not a lot and sometimes it was still a little bit chilly. But not anymore this week!

The weather was like the worst this week. Not that it was snowing, but just rain for so many days I didn't think it would stop. It wasn't raining the whole week, but pretty much half of it. Aside from the rain, my social life was back to normal! Finally, after doing no fun stuff because of school, I decided to meet my friends again. Also, so very sorry about the shitty quality of the last photos. Every Monday I want to post my ootw, which I didn't manage in the past. For the last few weeks, it went perfectly well. I don't shoot my ootw every day, sometimes I have to shoot three outfits on a day because I didn't have enough time on the day itself or the weather was awful. This time the weather has been awful and the batteries decided to die. I always hate that. But I'm beginning with the pictures which did turn out good.

I was just curious about your opinion about this jacket. It's from my sister and I'm quite torn whether I should keep it or not. I think I'm gonna donate it to the H & M (since you get a coupon with 15 % discount if you donate a bag of clothes). The jacket is a little bit too big, I hate the picture with the heart on the sleeve. But I like the gold buttons.

Driving lessons, schoolwork and schoolwork. Honestly, my weeks are quite boring since it's mostly filled with doing schoolwork. I want to shop again so badly!

You can never... What did I order today? A blazer! Yes one can never have too many (fill in whatever you ordered) blazers. To look fashionable at work or just laid back going out with friends. This jersey blazer is only 9 euros at the H & M webshop. It was originally 29,95 euros.

Do you sometimes go to a thrift shop or a second hand store? I was never that fond of them, since I didn't really like the idea of buying clothes which someone already wore. After this really cute polkadot blazer, I started to think differently. I used to picture thrift shop clothing as dirty. But after I washed it, it's just as clean as the rest of my clothes. Plus, clothes in stores might be new, but a lot of people try the same items and it's not like those clothes get washed. So basically, I really want to go to a thrift shop.

Styling of a Christmas dress

Yesterday I wrote about ideas for a Christmas outfit. Today I want to show how you can style a festive dress. Thanks to my sister M., because she's the one in the pictures. It's her dress.

Look 1: This red dress is from the H & M, it was 59,95 euros. My sister really wanted to have it. She has a great style, more a classic style, whereas my style is more casual. She's wearing black tights with bright red heels. I think nude tights would really work with this outfit as well. Just like black pumps.

Look 2: At first I liked this dress with a black blazer, but come to think of it, it looks better without a blazer (which my sister said). With the blazer on, it makes her looks bigger while she's really tiny. You can't really see the dress that good either. So yes, my sister was right. It looks better without the blazer.

Look 3: While this looks better, I'm not that sure of the small cardigan. Sure, it maybe warm, but it's a bit short. At least you can see the dress this way. Plus, she'll be wearing accessories with it, so I'm 100 % sure she will look amazing. Tell me, what's your favorite look with this dress? Look 1, Look 2 or Look 3?

Merry Christmas to you all! I hope you have a wonderful time with family (and friends). Enjoy unwrapping the gifts if you have any and enjoy the lovely meals. Stuff yourself so you can curse yourself the rest of the year for eating so much with Christmas. Plus, you will already have your first New Years resolution! With the holidays we can eat as many as we want, so I'm gonna do that! Have you come up with a great outfit for Christmas? If not, here is some inspiration! 

Box and a bag

Today I went shopping in Zwolle with my mom and when I came home not one package was waiting on me, but two! One giant box from C & A, with my two dresses and another package from H & M. I expected the H & M blouse and skirt, but when I opened the package it appeared to be the blazer I ordered.

 

I'm keeping both dresses. I think the denim dress is awesome. And it doesn't make me too nostalgic to my childhood as I used to own a denim dress when I was a kid as well. This dress was on sale and only 12 euros. It was 19,90 euros at first.

 This dress is so cute! It's totally amazing! I think I would combine it with brown shoes or boots. Perhaps it can look great with a denim jacket? I'll have to check somewhere in the near future. This dress was 12 euros in the sale as well, originally it was 19,90 euros. The flower dress reminds me so much of fall. But it can be worn in every season, though it would be cold in the winter.

 

 

The blazer I ordered from the H & M. I don't have much to add except that I'm keeping it and I thinks it looks classy. I'm also relieved it doesn't make me too pale. It was 10 euros.
