Outfits of the week: Week 13

Weather like this means wearing all of my faux leather jackets. I love faux leather jackets, that's why I have several so many of them.

I went to Almere today because I went there for business. I can now officially say I just founded my own company. I'm gonna write texts for company's and of course I'm gonna keep on blogging. And I hope my blog will help with getting writing jobs. I want to continue with writing about affordable fashion brands. Because I love affordable fashion brands since I'm not exactly rich. And I'm guessing most of my readers (and blog readers in general) aren't either.

Hailey Baldwin is the face of Topshop's SS15 denim collection

Hailey Baldwin, a model, is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin, she is also rumored to be the girlfriend of Justin Bieber. And she is also the new face of the latest Topshop denim collection. Topshop has released a lookbook with Hailey Baldwin showing the collection. There are 9 types of jeans in total: Jamie Flare ('70s flared jeans), Binx (comfy stretch skinny jeans), Jamie (ripped skinny ankle jeans), Mom ('90s high waisted comfy jeans), Baxter (a more loose skinny jeans), Hayden (boyfriend jeans), Girlfriend (less loose than boyfriend jeans), Leigh (mid rise super soft skinny jeans) and Joni (ultra skinny and ultra high waist).

I went for a quick grocery shop in my town. Of course I had to make a quick stop at C & A which turned out to be a very good choice and a longer stop. I got one tregging from my mother and I bought two pants myself. I noticed C & A has a great spring collection, which I already mentioned several times before. But it's true, C & A nowadays has great clothes. I usually don't leave the store without buying something. Even so, this is my first shoplog this year. Not bad for a possible shopaholic right?
 

The shaping jeans

I discovered shaping skinny jeans on the webshop of H & M. I've never heard of shaping jeans. Do you? These jeans are available in four colors: medium dark blue, light blue, dark blue and black. The price of these jeans are € 49,99. The jeans are a little bit precier than other H & M jeans, but still really affordable.

4 in 1

While I was at work my H & M package came in. I guess the postman was ready for the weekend, because he left the package at the door at the back. Even though my sister and father were at home. I guess they didn't hear the bell? Any how, the package came in. When I came home I unwrapped it and immediately tried on the clothes.

Love thy denim

I love polkadot, colorful pants, floral prints and T-shirt. But the love for clothing items I have since forever is definitely denim. Most specifically jeans. Not that weird, if you consider that in the Netherlands people love their jeans. They're acceptable in most work places (not all). So don't be surprised if you see a lot of people who are Dutch wearing jeans. However during summer jeans might be a little hot. That's why playsuit are so handy, especially if you're not into dresses and skirts (like I was). This playsuit from New Look isn't denim, it's viscose.

It looks like a denim playsuit and that's why it caught my eye. It's € 29,99 at New Look.

Shoplog: Higher than higher

I went shopping in Zwolle as it had been quite a while. We also have too many bags at home with clothing we want to give to H & M so it can be recycled. And we get a 15 % discount. Important not to forget that discount.

The moms are back?

I saw the mom jeans in the Zara lookbook I posted in March. I didn't think it would catch on, at least I hoped not. I feel like they're unflattering. Boyfriend jeans can be unflattering, especially if you're short like me. But with heels they look so much better. Perhaps it might be the same with the mom jeans, but I'm still not sure of them. Why I'm writing about them now? Since apparently H & M has added mom jeans to their collection as well. So it might become a trend. If you're still wondering what the eff mom jeans are, here it is per Wikipedia: a type of jeans which are seen as unfashionable and unflattering. The jeans were quite popular until the mid 90's.

I'm totally not a shopaholic and I totally can stop buying every moment. And I know I said I would stop buying clothes for a while now, but this was totally a bargain. Basically, I have been saying this for like a half year now. And I just go on and on and on. I won't bore you guys with my internal monologue about me who might be having a shopping addiction. These jeans were only 9,95 euros at the H & M webshop. I'm loving these deals and loving these jeans, since I own them in a darker blue version, black and a dark denim version. But one can never have enough jeans. Or I might have now...

H & M spring collection 2014 online

I showed pictures of the spring collection 2014 from H & M. The spring collection is now online on the website, but most of the items are different than in this post. I wanted to make a collage of the items at first, so you don't have to scroll. But that failed miserably, because I like too many items. Thus, another post with a lot of scrolling. I'm not that fond of all the clothes, but I love a lot of it. I guess have to save a lot of money so I can buy a lot. Luckily I got a H & M gift card from my parents with Christmas. Can't wait to use it!

Outfits of the week: Week 50

This is the first week since my internship I hadn't any obligations. That was quite nice, to have a little bit of time of after my three busy months. While my shoe-wear was a tad boring this week, I'm hoping you do like the outfits!

Back to square one

My plaid jeans are in! They're sorta like skinny jeans. They're from H & M, Divided. I already know how I want to combine these jeans and can't wait to show it. The jeans are really comfy, though quite low at the back. I have to be careful when bending over if I'm wearing a short sweater. Other wise people might see a lot more than I want to show!

Lately I feel like experimenting with clothes. Certainly, I still love casual outfits and would still describe my style as such. But the last few months I bought clothes which I wouldn't have bought before. I don't think it's just my blog, but it certainly helps. 

I wouldn't have thought of buying these stretchjeans from the Divided collection a few years ago, but now I can't wait for the package to arrive. It was on sale, for only 17 euros (21,90 including forwarding charges). It wasn't that expensive before, only 24,95 euros. Now excuse me while I wait on the postmen...

The boyfriend jeans

After my successful shopping spree in Eindhoven, I got another nice surprise waiting for me at home. A package! H & M delivered my boyfriend jeans. And I must say, they were again very quick with the delivery. I think the jeans are very nice. They look baggy, but they're supposed to be, since they're boyfriend jeans. Don't mind the boots though, I don't think they look nice together but my sister M. was taking pictures of my outfits and I wanted to hurry, so I forgot to show them with pumps. But I'm sure you will see the boyfriend jeans in a nice outfit of the week post very soon :)!  The jeans were on sale, for only 10 euros! Including the forwarding charges I have to pay 14,90 euros for jeans. That's very cheap.

In my opinion you can never have too much jeans. Jeans go perfect with every outfit. You can wear stylish jeans, casual or ripped jeans. Dark jeans or light jeans, skinny, bootcut, flare jeans etc. The bottom line is, it's great that women can wear these items without being stared at because they're not supposed to wear them (50 years ago it was a complete different story, being a woman and wearing jeans). So hooray for jeans!

 

Outfits of the week: Week 42

I always love wearing new outfits and new clothes. Last week I went to Almere and it was a success. This Outfits of the week post will feature quite some new items I bought. But that's always the nice thing and ultimately the goal of shopping! New clothes/outfits!

I went shopping in Almere today! I looked forward to this for weeks. I actually wanted to go to Zwolle last week, but I couldn't due school business. But this week I had no school business. So yeah, a nice shopping spree. And I might have bought something new... Not much of course * coughs *. Just a few things everyone should have. Wanna see?

Supertight jeans and new blouse

I finally got my supertight jeans! I tried the size 36 at first and I fitted to a T! I ordered the jeans in size 36 and 38, because I was afraid a size 36 was too tight. And I had to wait like forever, so I didn't want to try jeans and wait another two months before I could try the bigger size. Anyway, I'm glad I ordered both. It was only 19,95 euros. So cheap for pants! The blouse is great as well. A nice neat blouse perfect for work and other chic things. You will see a picture of me wearing it very soon!

New jeans!

OMG you guys, I totes forgot my jeans were delivered last Saturday! The jeans are so comfy, they’ll probably end up as my new favourites. They’re also really skinny, but not too tight at my waist. They were 9,95 and I already own them in dark blue and black. I know, it’s a bit much, but they were so cheap and so comfy! Couldn’t resist (which isn’t saying, because I’m not exactly the queen of temptation when it comes to shopping!)
