Sale, I always love it. Even when I was a kid I loved it, because it meant getting more clothes. I always like sharing sales with you guys, so here is another one. Palladium boots are not cheap, so sale does make the boots (and other models) a lot more affordable.

Cyber Monday

I feel this is the year Black Friday really has become a thing in the Netherlands, mostly online though. But there was Black Friday discounts at stores as well. Even though it's not as big as in the States and the UK, I suspect it will be within five years. Cyber Monday might become big as well. On Cyber Monday the discounts are usually higher than on Black Friday, yet Cyber Monday wasn't that big. But this will become big as well.

Black Friday 2014

Yesterday it was Thanksgiving in the States and the following day is always Black Friday, which means a lot of discounts at a lot, if not all, stores. Most people in the Netherlands haven't heard about the phenennom. We don't have a Black Friday but I wouldn't be surprised if that's going to change. Since a lot of international fashion stores have a Black Friday in the Netherlands as well. Here are some of the discounts and most of the discounts are only today.

Outfits of the week: Week 40

It's October already. The tenth month... If you weren't think about fall, I think that will change soon. The temperatures have already dropped here. Even though last week I could still wear outfits you would expect during colder summer days. I think next week outfit of the week will be different because I'm already wearing a cardigan. Let's not skip ahead and go back to week 40. 

Sarenza lookbook fall/winter 2

Sarenza has another lookbook which I wanted to share with you. According to Sarenza, these four trends will be hot this fall and winter. The trends are masculine, chelsea, (faux) leather, closed boots or cut out boot. I definitely want to try chelsea boots, though not the one shown in the lookbook. I also still want to try cut out boots. Love the edgy look they have.

New Balance: Hot or not?

Lately, I have spotted a lot of New Balance sneakers on people's feet. I never tried the sneakers myself, so I have no idea how comfortable they are. The sneakers aren't really cheap. The New Balance shoes are mostly in the same price range as Nikes, Adidas and Puma. So the sneakers aren't crazy expensive. If you really like New Balance shoes you might want to check out the website of Sarenza. The webshop just added some new models. The sneakers are quite popular, because a lot of sizes are already sold out.

Preview Sarenza lookbook fall/winter collection

It still feels weird seeing platforms everywhere. But most people who witnessed the 70's and 80's must've thought the same when kids were wearing platforms in the 90's and 00's. Based on the preview of the lookbook from Sarenza, I don't think platforms are going anywhere (no pun intended). These pictures are from the new fall/winter collection. Yes people, we're going to a new season. I already see loads of new lookbooks which I think is exciting. But I'm gonna miss summer (not when it's crazy hot though) so I'm gonna enjoy it while it's still here.

Because shoes are amazing and I want to buy new shoes and I really want to buy sandals. That is why I made this post, which I think is a great reason. Have you bought some great sandals recently? I really like wedges or regular sandals. I also love sandals with fringes.

Just put these on

The title of this blogpost is exactly the appeal of slip ons. Just putting them on, for a rather casual look, without have to tie your shoes or walking on heels. Slip ons are perfect for under jeans but can look great with a skirt of dress if you want to make the outfit a little bit more sporty and edgy. I think slip ons are gonna be huge this spring and summer. I haven't tried any, so I don't know if they're as comfortable as they look. I selected some slip ons I like and which I think aren't super expensive.
