Mango summer 2015 lookbook

The last summer lookbook from Mango showed pretty much white items only, but this lookbook shows a little bit more color. Still not a lot though. The collection mostly exists out of brown items, other earth colors and white.

Violeta summer lookbook 2015

I often really like the Violeta (plus-size collection) lookbooks from Mango, sometimes even more than the regular lookbooks. This is the summer lookbook from the Violeta collection. The lookbook shows lots of blue colors, stripes, a kimono and just really nice items.

Spring in the 70s with Mango

When even the chairs in a lookbook scream 70s, you really know it's a trend that's gonna be everywhere. That said, I really love this lookbook. I love the yellow dress and the fringe jacket. I think the items in this lookbook are very wearable. They aren't too much 70s so people probably won't ask if you recycled them (from your own closet or your moms).

Mango Violeta spring lookbook 2015

I think I said enough about the Violeta models from Mango. They just don't look like plus models to me. I do however often like the Violeta collection even though I don't wear it. But this clothing line really shows you can look amazing when you're not that thin. Off course you can also be very tall, because sometimes you can't fit in the 'regular' sizes either. Now about the collection, there aren't a lot of prints, but you will see a lot of white, black and denim.

Mango denim on denim inspiration

Denim is still incredibly hot this spring and summer. Did it ever leave though? But just as previous years, denim on denim is trendy as well. Sometimes it can be hard to come up with ideas for denim on denim outfits. That's why Mango has some inspiration for you.

Mango Spring 2015 lookbook with Anna Ewers

Last, Daria Werbowy showed the lookbook from the spring and summer 2014 collection from Mango. This year it's model Anna Ewers. The trends are white, 70s, denim and wide items. We already had a look at some parts of the collection here, but now you can see the collection modelled by Anna Ewers.I love this lookbook, despite not being overtly excited by the earlier lookbook for spring 2015.

Mango peccary jacket

I'm a sucker for coats and (biker) jackets. Lately I have seen ads everywhere for this amazing Mango jacket. And now I want it. When I saw the ads I first thought the jacket was made from suede, but apparently it's peccary. The color of the jacket is a dark brown. Best thing about the jacket? The price!

Mango Fashion Show Spring/Summer 2015

We already saw the lookbook from the Mango spring and summer 2015 collection. The lookbook showed a lot of items in the 70's style. A lot of flowy, wide items and a lot of polkadot. The collection was mostly white, not a lot of color. Yesterday was the fashion show where the spring and summer 2015 collection from Mango was presented on the runway.

Trends according to Mango

A lot of fashion brands predict the trends for the upcoming season. Mango is the latest brand which has predicted these trends. We saw these trends in the lookbook for the new spring collection. But Mango made a compilation, summing up the trends, these are: Color Block, Play with Stripes, Simplicity, Glam Rock, Fringes, Florals, Minimal Graphics, Graphic Blocking, Soft Colors, Sporty Style and 70s Feel. I think the trends and pictures speak for them self. Most of these trends aren't new. However, I do like most of these trends.

Mango lookbook spring/summer collection 2015

It's not a lookbook of yet another Christmas collection again I promise. It's a lookbook from Mango from their spring/summer collection of 2015. Sounds so far away, yet in a few months I will be writing about fall collections. Even though I already spotted some sneak previews from brands on Instagram. Back to the Mango lookbook; it looks the brand is going back to the 70's. Most of the items are very flowy and wide. You see a lot of dresses, polkadot and stripes. You can see some color, but not a lot. Join me and look at the first lookbook showing the collection for spring 2015.

Black Friday 2014

Yesterday it was Thanksgiving in the States and the following day is always Black Friday, which means a lot of discounts at a lot, if not all, stores. Most people in the Netherlands haven't heard about the phenennom. We don't have a Black Friday but I wouldn't be surprised if that's going to change. Since a lot of international fashion stores have a Black Friday in the Netherlands as well. Here are some of the discounts and most of the discounts are only today.

Mango lookbook November 2014

Let's take a break from all of these Christmas lookbooks. I'm still showing a lookbook, but not necessary a Christmas one. This is the Mango lookbook from November 2014. The collection does look like party wear, but I hope you either live in a warm climate or turn up the heater, because it doesn't look like the right clothing for November/December in Europe.

Mango Premium Evening Collection

The holiday season is coming and fashion stores are well prepared with their festive clothing. Mango Premium has a nice looking lookbook filled with festive clothing. I already ordered my possible Christmas dress. However I love to checkout the festive collections from other brands.

Outfits of the week: Week 42

Last year I was still busy with my intern ship. Hard to believe that was a year ago. Again, this week wasn't really special. I worked an extra day. Did a lot of school work. Same old, same old. I do have lots of coats to show again!

Mango lookbook winter 2014/2015

After fall comes winter and since it's fall some fashion brands have already showed their collection for this winter. And some have already showed their spring collection for next year. That seems too be a bit early, but it can be fun. However today I'm showing the winter lookbook of Mango. I gotta say I love this new lookbook with Daria Werbowy. The collection seems fun and not too dark. Most of the pieces also look more appropriate for fall or spring though. 

Outfits of the week: Week 40

It's October already. The tenth month... If you weren't think about fall, I think that will change soon. The temperatures have already dropped here. Even though last week I could still wear outfits you would expect during colder summer days. I think next week outfit of the week will be different because I'm already wearing a cardigan. Let's not skip ahead and go back to week 40. 

Parka all the way

Parka's have been trendy for quite a while now. I can understand why, since they're warm. I'm searching for one myself. Sometimes they're quite expensive. I'm searching for an affordable parka. The coat has to be warm. The parka can't be too long, since I'm short. I don't want to look like I'm wearing my mothers coat. Even though my mom has one awesome coat which I really like. Why the sudden need for a parka? I do have several coats, but they're not really warm. I decided to show a couple of parka's which are not super expensive.

Mango lookbook September

This lookbook from Mango has some artsy pictures in it. That makes the lookbook a little bit more different than other lookbooks. When I look at the items I notice a lot of loose pants. Comfy & cozy are the trends this fall and winter. I like! I especially love the squared sweater and coat. I like the cut out boots as well, though they will be too cold in the winter.
