New Trend collection

The new collection of Trend, the more luxurious and unique line of H & M,  is in stores and online. I already showed three items in this post. Again and again I see this collection isn't something I like. But I do think it's cool that H & M does have this line. Because I'm sure some of you will like (some of) these items. I gotta say I like the jumpsuit and I kinda like the brown vest.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett for the Christmas campaign for H & M

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are the faces of the H & M Christmas TV and print campaign. The singers have sung together before and are friends. So far this is the only shot realized. I'm sure more images will come soon, because before you know it's Christmas. And it's normal to release image before the actual collection will be online. I'm rather curious to the collection. Lady Gaga is known for her rather eccentric outfits. Then again, she didn't make the items herself.

Oops...! Zara did it again

A week ago I posted about a controversial T-shirt from Zara. The T-shirt had a quote on it, 'White is the new black'. Now Zara had another rather painful shirt in their collection (it's not available anymore). It was a shirt with blue stripes and a golden star on it. While the chain said the star referred to the old wild west and their sherrifs, customers thought other wise. They thought it had an eerie resemblance to clothes people had to wear in concentration camps. You might think why post this on my blog? I want to show that fashion has it bad sides at well. I'm really curious what you think about this shirt. Do you see the resemblance or do you think people overreacted?

Here come the Emmy's

It's time for some pretty dresses again. The Emmy Awards aired yesterday in the States. Award shows are always fun, because you get to see the celebs all dressed up. Especially when it's the Emmy's or the Oscars. The MTV Video Music Awards and the People Choice Awards are far more laid back. Even though with the latter shows you get wackier outfits. With award shows like the Emmy's the outfits aren't that wacky. Now let's look at a lot of pictures!

H & M send a news letter with a discount code of 25 %. This was too tempting. I spotted a purple high waisted pants a few days earlier. I really want to order the pants, because it was only € 19,99. But it was already sold out in my size. I checked everyday and finally I could order it. The discount made it even more awesome, since the pants would now become € 14,99. So basically it's like I don't have to pay forwarding charges. Which I do, but with the discount the pants is € 19,89 with forwarding charges. The only disappointing thing is that the pants will arrive in September and October. My mom ordered these pants for me as well in a different size. With the discount code of course.

Outfits of the week: Week 34

August is flying by as quickly as the rest of the year, which is quick. My mind seems to think we're just starting summer but it's not. It's almost over. Which sounds really dramatic. But I'm so not ready for rain and the cold. Then again, I do feel like wearing sweaters, vests and coats. Just not in really cold weather. Humans, we can make everything so complicated!

New Balance: Hot or not?

Lately, I have spotted a lot of New Balance sneakers on people's feet. I never tried the sneakers myself, so I have no idea how comfortable they are. The sneakers aren't really cheap. The New Balance shoes are mostly in the same price range as Nikes, Adidas and Puma. So the sneakers aren't crazy expensive. If you really like New Balance shoes you might want to check out the website of Sarenza. The webshop just added some new models. The sneakers are quite popular, because a lot of sizes are already sold out.

Vero Moda lookbook fall collection

I thought the last lookbook from Vero Moda looked great. The collection didn't look really flashy, but nice and wearable. However when I went to the store I had the same problem I had this and last year. I can buy the same things at Primark and H & M and more importantly, for less money. So why even bother? Yet when I see this lookbook for the fall and winter collection I want to run to the store. The collection and pictures look like fun.

I don't know what it is, but I love coats. I remember when I was a kid, I had a red coat with Minnie Mouse on it. I freaking loved the coat. I'm not saying that's where my love for coats came from. But I do know that I have had this obsession for several years. I do have a lot of obsessions, so that's not saying much.

Sometimes looking at inspiration for blog posts can be the worst for your wallet. I just saw this amazing coat (my weakness) at She Inside. It's probably not very warm, but it's certainly an eye catcher.

Black is the new black

You might've heard, Zara has a new T-shirt in the collection with the quote 'white is the new black'. It's probably a reference to the tv show Orange is the new black. However, I think this is one of the ideas which looked awful on paper. And even more on a T-shirt. The idea hopefully wasn't racist, but this T-shirt was still something they shouldn't made. 

This T-shirt from Vero Moda is € 21,95 and the quote is probably a reference to the tv show as well. However, I don't think there is anything wrong with this T-shirt. Quotes on T's can be a slippery slope. Do you agree? Do you think the T-shirt from Zara is racist or can be seen as racist?

The new trends with Zara

Zara has realised a new lookbook containing the new fall trends. I think it's a lovely way of showing a lookbook. You sum up the trends and you also show outfits. A couple of the trends are not really new. For example, parka's were trendy last year as well. Knits and layering are always convenient when it's cold. But let's take a look at the other trends.

Outfits of the week: Week 33

I knew it as soon as I typed it (and said it at loud). I miss summer and the hot weather. Well, not the super hot weather because that was too hot. But I swear this week felt like fall. And fall is coming soon enough. And will go on long enough. I'm ready to wear fall clothes and the fall collection, but I'm not ready for the fall weather. 

Ready to take of

If the H & M sports collection is a little bit too much for you, the Mango sports collection might be more your taste. This collection from Mango doesn't have graphic prints. The colours are darker as well. I think I like this collection better.

Going to school with Nelly

Yes, going back to school can be a drag. But picking your outfit for the first day of school isn't. Well, at least I never thought so. I always loved picking outfits for school. I used to wear bright red boots in high school. I loved them and I wore them until the fabric was peeling of. But let's talk about this collection from Nelly, specifically made for looking cool at school. You will definitely stand out with these eye catchers.

H & M Studio autumn/winter collection

There is the regular collection, the Trend collection and there is a the Studio collection. The clothes were already shown in a fashion show in February. Back then, I realized this collection isn't anything for me. Which this lookbook again confirms. I do like the fact that H & M has regular, normal priced clothing and with the Trend and Studio collection has more unique clothing. Surely it won't be for every one, but that's not what this collection represent anyway. It will be in stores and online at September 4.

New collection from Bershka

The new collection of Bershka is online. While this collection still screams summer to me, it does look like a great collection. I especially love the first brown jacket. It reminds me of my own brown jacket which I bought many years ago at... Bershka. I gotta admit, I'm slightly tempted to order the jacket. It's a faux leather jacket. And now € 29,99.

New shoes

After my fake All Stars, it was time for my fake Vans to arrive. I ordered the shoes in size 37 and 38, but size 38 was way too big. Even size 37 isn't that small. The quality of these are not as good as the fake All Stars. I didn't except that, so I'm not surprised. These shoes were only € 5,-. I'm still keeping them, but these shoes are definitely not for long distance or shopping.

Sporting in the fall & winter

Want to pick up sport, but look fashionable while doing it? H & M just realized the new sports collection for fall and winter. So even during those chilly you can be warm and most importantly, fashionable. Whether you go hiking, jogging or you do yoga. There's something for the most sports at H & M. It's also not that pricey, which is great. Sports can be expensive enough when you go to the gym or when you have to buy new shoes. The sports collection is quite colorful (I love colors). The items really make you stand out. And when you're not into that, perhaps they'll make you go faster because you don't want to be seen in them.

Only 5 euro's!?! That's the first thing which popped in my mind when I saw the price of these shoes. So I ordered them. Lately, I've been on a roll with ordering things. Oops...! I posted about these Fake All Stars and now I ordered fake Vans. Like I said before, these are only € 5,-. They were originally € 9,95.

Fake but good

I couldn't order the sneakers right away, because nobody would be home to receive the package. But when I finally ordered them I couldn't wait for the shoes to arrive. I wanted white low sneakers (and of white) for such a long a time. And now I finally have them.

Back to school with Zara

September is coming and that means school will be starting for loads of people. Zara kept that in mind while making this lookbook for the TRF collection. This collection is still quite bright for fall. I like the fact that the colors are not merely black, white and grey. The women collection for Zara was quite dark.

Outfits of the week: Week 32

I had a wedding this week. Not mine, but still very special. Because my oldest sister got married. The ceremony was beautiful and she had an amazing dress. It won't show it due my sisters privacy. But she looked amazing. This was also the week when I finally found my bag. Which is of course is not as special as my sis getting married. But it was something I was searching for for so long. 

At home during fall

A hot cup of chocolate milk, rain, wind, a fireplace. These are the things which pop in my mind when I think about fall. After a rainy and windy day, there is nothing nicer than coming home to a warm... Home. The new fall collection of H & M home shows a lot of cozy pictures. Blankets and pillows to keep you warm and to keep your house cozy during those rainy days.

Going to fall with Daria Werbowy

Model Daria Werbowy was already the face of the summer collection from Mango. But she also shows the fall collection from Mango. I already posted the pictures from the fashion show and the lookbook before. But here is the lookbook with Daria Werbowy, showing the fall collection of Mango. This lookbook appeals more to me than the lookbook of Zara. This collection looks more wearable with cozy sweaters, checkered blouses and fancy coats.

The white fake low ones weren't available in my size in the store. So I ordered them online, because they were available there. These shoes were only € 12,90. They're currently priced of, they were € 16,90 before. There are no forwarding charges at the webshop of Van Haren. I always appreciate no forwarding charges. I'm also more tempted to order something online if there are no forwarding charges. I don't think the low of white one will be coming in stock, but I'm stalking the particular page. I'm ready to order them as soon as they're in stock.

Polkadot vest

I don't see stars, I see dots... Every time I buy a new polkadot clothing item, I see to myself: that was the last one. Yet I always buy some more. This perhaps sounds like an addiction. But I think shopping is just good fun. Especially when it's cheap! And this vest was only € 12 and I didn't have to pay forwarding charges. This vest is also quite warm. I love it when there are no forwarding charges (at H & M)!

Vila lookbook fall/winter

Vila is not a store I visit. I'm not sure why. Because based on this lookbook I should. The lookbook doesn't show a colourful collection, but that's normal for fall/winter collections. Grey, black, dark brown and dark green are often used for the colder seasons. This collection looks chic, but not too chic. Nice for work, but enough items are totally wearable for a girls night out. I probably haven't checked out earlier collections, because I didn't know where the Vila store was. But Google is my friend and I found several locations. I will take a peek at the store. Proud to be a blogger? This T-shirt from Vila might be the one for you. The T-shirt comes in black with gold print and in grey with a silver print. The print shows a hash tag (#) and then it says blogger. The T-shirts are from Vila and they're € 21,95.

Faux leather shorts + sweater

My sweater and faux leather shorts finally arrived. I don't know why, but it felt like it took forever for the package to arrive. When it finally came, I was of course happy. 

 

Shoplog: Bag + two pair of shoes

Yes, after two years (not kidding) I finally found a new bag. I found my new bag in a small town nearby my place. The bag was also cheap and I found it in a rather unexpected store. But that's not the only thing I bought. I also bought two new pair of shoes. A woman can never have enough shoes.

Zara women lookbook fall

Zara isn't my favourite store. I think it's on the expensive side and I think most of the clothes look a tad boring. Sure, the blazers are amazing and so are the jackets and coats. But the clothes are often more appropriate for work. Which is fine, but I don't they look exciting. Based on this lookbook, I don't get excited either. Perhaps the collection will look different in the stores. Since lookbooks never show the whole collection.

Brand new articles at H & M

New lookbooks, new collections. The fall collections are dropping in the stores. Last week I already saw some fall pieces at H & M. Since new articles also arrived on the webshop, I thought why not show it? It was really hard to pick some items. Hence the picture spam.

Outfits of the week: Week 31

This week I went shopping in Almere again! I think it's only been one time I didn't buy anything there. But ever since Primark arrived there I always buy something (a lot). Then again, I did wear a lot of items which I bought two years ago. So I might buy a lot, I still have a lot of clothes from two years ago.

The search continues

My search for the perfect black bag is still ongoing. I have looked at too many bags, webshops, stores and yet I haven't found one. I did finally order one and I wanted to tell you about it. Because the bag I ordered at Hip voor de heb is great, if you're not as picky as I am. 

Inspired by

I looked at the new collection of Notion 1.3 which you can buy at Nelly. I'm not that fond of the collection. I think it's a little bit pricey. And a little bit tacky, pardon my French. I did spot this fuzzy vest, which costs € 69,95. It reminds me a little bit of the Isabel Marant vest for H & M. It does look different. For example, this vest is far longer than the Isabel Marant vest. Plus it's less fuzzy. But I wouldn't be surprised of this particular cardigan was inspired by the Isabel Marant vest.

How cute is this vest? My love for polkadot is still going strong. Mix that with no forwarding charges and a polkadot vest in the H & M sale and you got an online order. I'm still waiting on my other order as well. This is another clothing item which is more suitable for fall and winter. Especially since it's still very hot here. The vest was originally € 24,95. It's now only € 12,-. It looks very warm and I think it is. Since my sister M. has the same one. Can't wait to style this vest with an outfit!
