Pastel has been hot for several years during spring time. I've been stocking pastel items for my closet as well. I can't wait to combine my pastel items and I look forward to buying some new items. Pastel for spring

Pastel colors always remind of spring. Probably because you see them a lot during spring. I wasn't that fond of pastel colors a couple of years ago, but now I'm loving those colors. They look fresh, cute and at the same time you can make them more edgy with edgy boots. Nelly has made a lookbook with amazing pastel colors, so you're ready for spring.

Nelly spring 2015 trends

Nelly is showing the trends of spring 2015. Some of these are trends we already saw in lookbooks from other fashion brands. The trends according to Nelly are: Bohemian Babe (flowy and fringe), Tinted Pastel (pastel), Back to the Future (60's/70's), Preppy Sailor (stripes), Team 90's, Good Twin (two pieces) and Bright White (lots of white).

Cyber Monday

I feel this is the year Black Friday really has become a thing in the Netherlands, mostly online though. But there was Black Friday discounts at stores as well. Even though it's not as big as in the States and the UK, I suspect it will be within five years. Cyber Monday might become big as well. On Cyber Monday the discounts are usually higher than on Black Friday, yet Cyber Monday wasn't that big. But this will become big as well.

Black Friday 2014

Yesterday it was Thanksgiving in the States and the following day is always Black Friday, which means a lot of discounts at a lot, if not all, stores. Most people in the Netherlands haven't heard about the phenennom. We don't have a Black Friday but I wouldn't be surprised if that's going to change. Since a lot of international fashion stores have a Black Friday in the Netherlands as well. Here are some of the discounts and most of the discounts are only today.

Nelly party lookbook with Lily Aldridge

Lily Aldridge is the new face of the NLY Icons: Collection. Lily Aldridge is a model and a Victoria's Secret Angel. The model shows the Christmas collection from webshop Nelly in their latest lookbook. I also added some pictures of behind the scenes from the photoshoot.

Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been working on school and playing hooky. I shopped yesterday! It was so nice to get out of the house, you have no idea. But I'm back with a post about shoes. Because shoes are amazing. This post is about shoe trends according to Nelly.

Shopping with Nelly

I'm a big fan of shopping and Nelly has now the ideal theme for me for their new collection: epic shopping. This is the fall/winter lookbook from Nelly. After not being very enthusiastic with the last few lookbooks, this one feels like a welcome change. I love the first two outfits. I especially love the pink coat, even though it would be too long for me since I'm very short. Most of these outfits inspire me and that's partly what lookbooks are for. The main reason is to check out and buy the collection and I'm very tempted looking at these items.

Going to school with Nelly

Yes, going back to school can be a drag. But picking your outfit for the first day of school isn't. Well, at least I never thought so. I always loved picking outfits for school. I used to wear bright red boots in high school. I loved them and I wore them until the fabric was peeling of. But let's talk about this collection from Nelly, specifically made for looking cool at school. You will definitely stand out with these eye catchers.

I looked at the new collection of Notion 1.3 which you can buy at Nelly. I'm not that fond of the collection. I think it's a little bit pricey. And a little bit tacky, pardon my French. I did spot this fuzzy vest, which costs € 69,95. It reminds me a little bit of the Isabel Marant vest for H & M. It does look different. For example, this vest is far longer than the Isabel Marant vest. Plus it's less fuzzy. But I wouldn't be surprised of this particular cardigan was inspired by the Isabel Marant vest.

Going to the zoo

I was browsing through Nelly when I spotted these leopard printed sneakers. They're on sale and now € 41,95. The sneakers are Superga. I really like the animal print, even though I wasn't that big of an animal print fan before. Perhaps because of these sneakers I changed my mind. Animal print doesn't have to look tacky, but I think if has to be in moderation. Wearing an all animal outfit print can be a tad much. Then again, whatever floats your boat. Fashion is something personal and the most fun when you experiment. But I'll be sticking with wearing not too much animal print.

New collection of River Island

There is a brand new collection of River Island at Nelly. That's what I read in their newsletter so I decided to check the brand out. I like the clothes, though some of them are a little bit more on the pricey side. But I spotted a lot of summery items, bright colours, floral patterns, skirts and dresses. Perfect for these summer days and nights.

Pajama pants

I was checking the sale at Nelly and saw these amazing printed "pajama". I own pants in a similar style and I think they're amazing. I have only worn the pants once, but I want to wear it asap. Especially when the weather is good and it's warm outside. The pants are comfy and very airy. So not a good combination when it's winter, but definitely when it's summer. These pants are now on sale for € 18,95.

I posted several sales over the last week, but I thought, why not show a overview since so many stores have begun their sale since then. It also became quit tedious reading about every sale in a seperate post right?

Rebecca Stella for Nelly

I have no idea who Rebecca Stella is, but apparently she teamed up with Nelly. After a quick Google search and some Wikipedia I learned she's a blogger. She is also an Swedish singer, designer and a glamour model. She has more viewers on her blog than mine, so perhaps she is doing something right. Judging on her lookbook for Nelly, I'm not really a fan of her style. Why am I showing it either way? Because perhaps you might like it.

What to wear with Easter?

 I'm still not sure what I'm gonna wear with Easter so I thought, why not make a post about? Obviously the color yellow pops into my mind. I think most people associate the color yellow with spring, Easter and chickens (as in chickens of a bird, not a woman). I'm not that big of a fan of the color yellow. I like it on others, but I'm too pale I fear. So I decided I made some outfit ideas. I don't think they're the typical outfits for Easter, but that's why I like them. Besides, what is the typical outfit for Easter in your eyes?

Nelly sale

Nelly started the mid season sale as well. It has so many pages that I was quite overwhelmed to be quite honest. It had 38 pages (when I looked) and that was when I looked for articles under the € 50! Can you imagine all the pages of the whole mid season sale?
