Gigi Hadid for Topshop

Model Gigi Hadid is the new face for Topshop. She is the new face of the Autumn/Winter Collection 2015. This collection will be sold from August 20. While new collections are always exciting, I'm so not in the mood for fall. And based on this collection, I feel like Topshop isn't ready for fall either. I always wonder why a lot of fashion brands still show mostly summer clothes in their fall collection. When most of the time during fall, it's colder than during summer.

Topshop spring collection 2015

The opening of the first Topshop store in the Netherlands is approaching soon. It will open on February 26, at 11.00 A.M. Since not everyone who follows my blog is Dutch, I have some nice pictures from the new Topshop collection. Of course if you're curious about the store and the collection that's the best way to find out whether you would like the store. Even though a lookbook doesn't always say anything, a webshop does.

Hailey Baldwin is the face of Topshop's SS15 denim collection

Hailey Baldwin, a model, is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin, she is also rumored to be the girlfriend of Justin Bieber. And she is also the new face of the latest Topshop denim collection. Topshop has released a lookbook with Hailey Baldwin showing the collection. There are 9 types of jeans in total: Jamie Flare ('70s flared jeans), Binx (comfy stretch skinny jeans), Jamie (ripped skinny ankle jeans), Mom ('90s high waisted comfy jeans), Baxter (a more loose skinny jeans), Hayden (boyfriend jeans), Girlfriend (less loose than boyfriend jeans), Leigh (mid rise super soft skinny jeans) and Joni (ultra skinny and ultra high waist).

Stella McCartney for Adidas at Topshop

I really need to pick up exercising again, because I've been skipping a lot lately. Also due to snow, but when it snows outside, I can always exercise inside. So I really need to pick up exercising again. All these fashion brands which are releasing sportswear collection do help a little. Stella McCartney has teamed up with Adidas for another sportswear collection and it's sold at Topshop. That are a lot of brands collaborating for one sportswear collection. The collection shows bright items mixed with black and white. Most notable item? The onesie.

Inspiration for sweater weather

On days like these, when it's super cold outside and it's raining and the weather is just ugh, I often want to grab a sweater and jeans. Just a simple, basic outfit. But I also want to challenge myself to make some less basic outfits. Although there is nothing wrong with basic and I sometimes love to wear it. Just not everyday. I found some inspiration on Topshop. The first picture isn't very practical without pants though.

Sale is everywhere

Sale is everywhere! Well, I'm not sure everywhere, but at least at these stores/webshops it is. I already posted about the H & M and Vero Moda sale. Now I'm sharing the other sales.

I'm often browse through a lot of webshops. It is also very often that I see something I like, so I'm not sure whether it's a good idea I often look at webshops. However I usually order something at H & M. I have occasionally ordered something at C & A and Van Haren. But I don't order a online on other webshops. 

Cyber Monday

I feel this is the year Black Friday really has become a thing in the Netherlands, mostly online though. But there was Black Friday discounts at stores as well. Even though it's not as big as in the States and the UK, I suspect it will be within five years. Cyber Monday might become big as well. On Cyber Monday the discounts are usually higher than on Black Friday, yet Cyber Monday wasn't that big. But this will become big as well.

Topshop coming to Amsterdam

Topshop is coming to Amsterdam. There is already a Topshop shop-in-shop store in Amsterdam in the big warehouse Bijenkorf (quote famous in the Netherlands, it's kinda like a Harvey's). The store will be 1400 meters big. The stores will have three stories. 

Topshop fashion show

Fashion shows are always nice, even though I've never been to one. However, I like to look at the pictures and see if the trends seen on the catwalk end up in main stream stores like Mango, Topshop and H & M. Fashion week in London is now on full blow. Topshop had a fashion show today.

Cara Delevingne for Topshop

Cara Delevingne has been a model who has been popular for a while now. She has done several large campaigns. Now she teamed up with Topshop. She is the model in the lookbook for the fall/winter collection of Topshop. I think it was a good choice, because I think the lookbook looks great. It doesn't look too much like fall clothes, but just regular clothing. Probably because the background doesn't look too much like fall either. I like the clothes as well, though I admit they don't look very spectacular. But that is why I like them.

Topshop High Summer lookbook 2014

We have the most dreadful weather in the Netherlands at the moment and it might stay here until Wednesday! That's why today (and yesterday, every rain, drowsy, fall and winter day) is perfect for the high summer lookbook 2014 from Topshop. The lookbook exists out of the following collection: City Tribes (tribal prints), Flower Garden (floral prints), Folk (hippy like), Pacific Life (Hawaii inspired) and White Out (lots of white).

Topshop is going Dutch

Topshop is coming to the Netherlands.You can already buy clothes from the webshop on this lovely thing called internet but probably late 2014 (so basically this year) we can do some live shopping in a Topshop store as well. I'm excited because I totally want to see the store even though I've never bought something from the store itself. Forever 21 recently launched a store in the Netherlands so I guess we're being discovered by big brands? Hooray! Speaking about Topshop, the Kate Moss collection is doing really well. Some of the pieces are already sold out. I won't be surprised if she might do another collection with the store in the future.

What to wear with Easter?

 I'm still not sure what I'm gonna wear with Easter so I thought, why not make a post about? Obviously the color yellow pops into my mind. I think most people associate the color yellow with spring, Easter and chickens (as in chickens of a bird, not a woman). I'm not that big of a fan of the color yellow. I like it on others, but I'm too pale I fear. So I decided I made some outfit ideas. I don't think they're the typical outfits for Easter, but that's why I like them. Besides, what is the typical outfit for Easter in your eyes?

Kate Moss for Topshop

Kate Moss has teamed up with Topshop again. The model had a collection at Topshop before but it was ended several years ago. But now and I quote "The icon is back". Topshop of course refers to Kate Moss' status as a supermodel. That she still is a supermodel is obvious when you look at the gorgeous campaign pictures. The clothes exists out of cowboy fringes, edgy leather pieces and pretty dresses. The collection is divided in four themes: Tailoring Noir ('20 inspired), Balearic Dressing (bohemian), Cocktail Hour (classic party style) and Pyjama dressing (paisley print). The collection will be available at April 30.

Topshop & Adidas

I guess the new trend in fashion world is making your own sports line or in this case, collaborating with a known sports brand. I'm talking about the Topshop line for Adidas. Some of the items are colorful and have prints on them. It's a little bit more on the pricey side if you compare it to the H & M sports line. But then again, H & M is known for cheap and Adidas not.
