Oh summer, where art thou?

I warned myself a few months again during the summer, when it was so warm you couldn't do anything, I would gonna miss summer. It was so crazy hot back then that I longed for some other temperatures. I didn't want winter either. I don't mind wearing cozy sweaters and fluffy vests, but when I go outside it's so cold. Too cold. So I'm longing for summer. Just not the crazy hot temperatures either. To remind myself of nicer temperatures, I collected my favorite summer outfits. I wore some outfits when it was really warm and some outfits when it was a little bit colder. Zara TRF lookbook December 2014

Zara and I have a love/hate relationship. I always post their lookbooks, I covet most of their coats and I usually like a lot on their webshop. I'm usually not a big fan of their lookbooks and I rarely visit the store since I think Zara is a bit pricey. But since I always post their lookbooks, I'm posting this one from the TRF as well. This lookbooks shows a lot of (fake) fur, prints and colors. The fake fur items will come in handy soon because it's cold and it will probably get even colder. Brrr!

Black Friday 2014

Yesterday it was Thanksgiving in the States and the following day is always Black Friday, which means a lot of discounts at a lot, if not all, stores. Most people in the Netherlands haven't heard about the phenennom. We don't have a Black Friday but I wouldn't be surprised if that's going to change. Since a lot of international fashion stores have a Black Friday in the Netherlands as well. Here are some of the discounts and most of the discounts are only today.

Nike Air Max Thea and leopard

I lately love leopard and at the moment I don't think I should buy anymore leopard prints. When you wear a leopard clothing item or shoes, I think the rest of the outfit should remain basic. That's why sometimes it can be a challenge to combine leopard while remaining classy or stylish. But it's certainly possible!

On Tuesday I went to Zwolle and I discovered a Bershka. Apparently it has been there for almost a year. I wanted to take a better look at Bershka and I always enjoy visiting H & M. So that's why I went to Zwolle again, so I could take a better look at the stores.

Vero Moda party dresses

I still don't have a nice dress or outfit for Christmas and New Years Eve. I could wear the dresses I wore last year, but honestly I like searching for a new dress. I found some cute dresses at Vero Moda and I wanted to show these. The dresses are in a nice price range. I don't want to spend too much money if I'm gonna buy a new dress.

Leopard, leopard

It might be a little bit tacky, but I don't care. I love this leopard blouse/T-shirt from H & M. At the moment it's too cold, because I was nearly freezing my ass of even while shooting these pictures. I can wear it with a vest or blazer at the moment.

Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett video Christmas collection

H & M released a video of Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, who are the faces of the Christmas collection from H & M. You can see some of the items from the collection here. Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett performing the song It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing).

Outfits of the week: Week 47

It was the week the movie Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 1 came out. I've been waiting forever for the movie and I loved it. There was not a lot of action in it, but I loved seeing the toll the games and the war took on Katniss. I really want to see the movie again. It wasn't perfect, but it was so much better than I expected. I felt like the third book would be hard to film, but they did an excellent job. I think splitting the movies is very justified as well. It would've been too much for just one movie.

Nelly party lookbook with Lily Aldridge

Lily Aldridge is the new face of the NLY Icons: Collection. Lily Aldridge is a model and a Victoria's Secret Angel. The model shows the Christmas collection from webshop Nelly in their latest lookbook. I also added some pictures of behind the scenes from the photoshoot.

Bershka Christmas collection 2014

I would love to show spring collections, but at the moment Christmas is everywhere. I swear a lot of people will be sick of Christmas when it finally arrives. Bershka has released a Christmas collection, just like a lot of brands did. The collection is quite dark and has a lot of sequins and lace.

Boots & a dress

I thought my leopard blouse/T-shirt from H & M would arrive before the other two packages, but I was wrong. The boots and dress arrived before the blouse.

A Cozy Winter with the new H & M Home collection

I loving posting pictures of the H & M collection, even though it might look odd on a fashionblog. I'm not a big fan of decorating the house myself, but I love seeing decorated interiors from others. Especially when it's not too cluttered but not too clean looking other. This lookbook from the new home collection is filled with Christmas decorations. Love it!

Nike Air Max 2015

You can certainly walk really comfortable with Nike Air Max sneakers. I'm not sure if I would wear them as running shoes. I think they're not really meant for that. Nike apparently agreed and now has released the Nike Air Max 2015 ID.

The end of the year is getting closer and closer and it still feels weird. Even though I nearly had a year to get used to 2014 lol. I'm looking forward to all of the Christmas lights. Have you seen a lot of Christmas lights yet?

A month ago I wrote about these fake Dr. Martens from H & M. I wanted to order them but I wasn't sure if they were my style. I think the boots look edgy and certainly Dr. Martens look great on a lot of people. Because there were no forwarding charges I was tempted to order them. And so I did. I should've ordered them yesterday, since they were 30 % cheaper. They were € 20,99 on Sunday and back to € 29,99 on Monday.

Mango lookbook November 2014

Let's take a break from all of these Christmas lookbooks. I'm still showing a lookbook, but not necessary a Christmas one. This is the Mango lookbook from November 2014. The collection does look like party wear, but I hope you either live in a warm climate or turn up the heater, because it doesn't look like the right clothing for November/December in Europe.

I often check the H & M sale. When there are no forwarding charges, it's even more tempting to order something. This leopard blouse is only € 9,-. I think it looks more like a top than a blouse but whatever.

By the time Christmas is finally here you'll probably be sick of it with all these Christmas collections I'm posting. This time I'm showing the C & A Christmas collection with loads of cute dresses. The nice thing about this collection is that most dresses are reasonably priced. Some are a little bit pricier.

Floral print boots

I won't deny I have a lot of shoes. I have a lot of different to choose from. I own flats, heels, ankle boots (with and without heels), boots, sneakers, wedges, fake UGGs, pumps, slippers and sandals. I think that sums it up. Nevertheless I always searching for my next pair. I confess, I'm a shoeaholic.

Mango Premium Evening Collection

The holiday season is coming and fashion stores are well prepared with their festive clothing. Mango Premium has a nice looking lookbook filled with festive clothing. I already ordered my possible Christmas dress. However I love to checkout the festive collections from other brands.

Last year I wore a polkadot dress from H & M and a floral dress from Primark during Christmas. I love the dresses and I love the fact that I can wearing them all year long. It was something I wanted back then. But I have to admit, this year I want a more festive dress.

Roshe Run for in the winter

I love my Roshe Run from Nike. I love my black and pink versions and they're super comfortable. But now the weather is colder, I have to make sure I wear warm socks. Because other wise my toes will freeze off. The sneakers are ventilated, which is great in the spring, summer and early fall. But not so much in the winter. Sure, warm socks are a solution. 

Topshop coming to Amsterdam

Topshop is coming to Amsterdam. There is already a Topshop shop-in-shop store in Amsterdam in the big warehouse Bijenkorf (quote famous in the Netherlands, it's kinda like a Harvey's). The store will be 1400 meters big. The stores will have three stories.

New in. Black ankle boots. Yes, I bought black ankle boots last year. I love them, I worn them a lot. And I will wear them in the future again. But these new black ankle boots are also awesome. I saw them before and I bought them today with discount.

Dinner, shopping and hopefully no more schoolwork? This week was a great week. I lacked motivation at the beginning of the week, but I finally managed to finish my last school project. Now I'll just have to wait if everything is good. Exciting!

Rapper Iggy Azalea is the face of Forever 21 and she has picked her favorite party items. The Forever 21 party collection looks cute but you should wear a jacket or a blazer over the dresses and tops. Or make sure the dining and living room are very warm with Christmas and New Year's Eve.

The leatherlook blazer

The leatherlook trend is a trend which I really love. I already have two coats with leatherlook sleeves and I own faux leather pants. But I still want a leatherlook blazer. Last year H & M had a leatherlook blazer I wanted so badly. But it was sold out most of the time. When I finally tried one on in the store, I hesitated and didn't buy it. So my search for the perfect leatherlook blazer is still going strong.

Shopping time. Shopping time! After spending so much time after schoolwork and finishing it, it was time for some relaxing. I went to a nearby city for a quick little shopping spree. I was going to dinner with friends in the evening, but there was enough time in the afternoon for shopping.

Alexander Wang X H & M Collection in stores now

Yes it is November 6, a day where a lot of fashionista waited for. Today, the latest collection from a guest designer will be sold in stores and online at H & M. Alexander Wang is the latest guest designer and I wrote a lot about the collection already. Isabel Marrant was the guest designer last year. Guest designer collections always attract a lot of people. The webshop is usually offline or doesn't work that well. Anyway, I showed lookbooks, sneak previews and the pictures from the fashion show. But I didn't the pieces separately. So hey, why not now?

Hot or not: the Poncho

Love or hate it, but the poncho is back. If often comes back in the winter. However you usually don't see the poncho in a lot of stores. This winter it's a very hot item. And with a poncho you can stay warm, so pun intended.

Forever 21 Christmas lookbook 2014

Christmas collection are all the rage. Most people want to look awesome with Christmas since family and/or friends come over to their house. Or people visit their family and/or friends. Christmas means presents, family, lots of food and also looking great with festive clothes. That usually means lots of glitter and glamour. Forever 21 just launched their latest lookbook, showing their Christmas collection.

November, almost the last month of the year. It didn't feel like the beginning of November in the weekend, because it was warm. Very warm. The beginning of November has never been so warm in the Netherlands!

Vero Moda winter lookbook 2014/2015

I wrote already several times about Vero Moda. How I like the clothes, but not the prices. You can find similar items at H & M and Primark. You can find these items for better prices. It's why I barely go to Vero Moda anymore. I always love their lookbooks, so I wanted to share the latest lookbook.

Nike X Liberty London the Holiday collection

I loved the last collection of Nike X Liberty London. Air Max are still on my wishlist. The sneakers from the new collection will be available today in stores from Liberty London. They will be available on Nike.com from December 1. The print of the sneakers are flowers and polkadot.
