If you read my blog a lot, you know I always succeed in Almere when I go shopping. It's not the capital of the Netherlands. But the capital, Amsterdam, doesn't have a Primark yet. Since I always want to go to Primark, I never really go to Amsterdam anymore. Not that I came there a lot before Primark opened in Almere. But when you have multiple successful shopping sprees in a city, you want to go back every time.

Get sporty with Karlie Kloss

The model Karlie Kloss is the new face of the Nike fall collection. As a model, she has to work out a lot to keep in shape. They're also many paparazzi pictures of her leaving the gym. So I think the combination of Kloss and Nike works out (pun intended).

Cara Delevingne for Topshop

Cara Delevingne has been a model who has been popular for a while now. She has done several large campaigns. Now she teamed up with Topshop. She is the model in the lookbook for the fall/winter collection of Topshop. I think it was a good choice, because I think the lookbook looks great. It doesn't look too much like fall clothes, but just regular clothing. Probably because the background doesn't look too much like fall either. I like the clothes as well, though I admit they don't look very spectacular. But that is why I like them.

Preview Sarenza lookbook fall/winter collection

It still feels weird seeing platforms everywhere. But most people who witnessed the 70's and 80's must've thought the same when kids were wearing platforms in the 90's and 00's. Based on the preview of the lookbook from Sarenza, I don't think platforms are going anywhere (no pun intended). These pictures are from the new fall/winter collection. Yes people, we're going to a new season. I already see loads of new lookbooks which I think is exciting. But I'm gonna miss summer (not when it's crazy hot though) so I'm gonna enjoy it while it's still here.

Shoplog

The new fall/winter collection of H & M is available in stores and online. I also saw there were no forwarding charges, so I could order something without feeling guilty (which I won't do anyway). I ordered a new sweater, because cold weather is never far away in the Netherlands.

Outfits of the week: Week 30

Another warm week. I should be grateful, because in a few months I will regret saying it. But it's too hot. You really shouldn't do to much in this weather, except for swimming or something. So of course I went shopping this week.

Floral twins

Earlier this year I wore an amazing floral pantsuit from Zara. I bought the floral blazer and matching floral pants in the sale. My blazer from Zara isn't on sale anymore, but I found this floral blazer at Shenside. It looks almost exactly the same after a careful analysis of my own blazer. So if you liked the blazer from Zara, you might want to check this blazer out.

Love thy denim

I love polkadot, colorful pants, floral prints and T-shirt. But the love for clothing items I have since forever is definitely denim. Most specifically jeans. Not that weird, if you consider that in the Netherlands people love their jeans. They're acceptable in most work places (not all). So don't be surprised if you see a lot of people who are Dutch wearing jeans. However during summer jeans might be a little hot. That's why playsuit are so handy, especially if you're not into dresses and skirts (like I was). This playsuit from New Look isn't denim, it's viscose.

It looks like a denim playsuit and that's why it caught my eye. It's € 29,99 at New Look.

Shoplog: Higher than higher

I went shopping in Zwolle as it had been quite a while. We also have too many bags at home with clothing we want to give to H & M so it can be recycled. And we get a 15 % discount. Important not to forget that discount.

Spice up your life

This might be a misleading post. But when I saw the small lookbook from Forever 21 with colorful colors, it was one of the first things that popped in my mind. Well that and amazing combinations. I usually don't match too much, but I like it on other people. However these pictures definitely inspire me, so I thought why not post it?

Outfits of the week: Week 29

It was crazy hot this week. A little bit too hot. I went too lunch with a friend and I had another interview. And I worked a lot this week. So again, basically like last weeks. But that's okay, we can't all do exciting things. 

H & M fall collection

Coming up with something to write about the coming fall/winter collection, the end of the sale period and the end of summer collection is becoming quite challenging. So why shouldn't I just start with what this post is about? Here are pictures of the new fall collection from H & M. Seeing how the prices and the items are slightly different than the usual H & M collection, I suspect these items are actually from H & M trend. But I can't really find it. Either way, there are some more regular items in the collection as well. But tastes differ, so perhaps you think (all of) the items do look awesome?

Mango Fashion Show

Here I am, enjoying the very hot weather in the Netherlands and at the same time looking at the pictures from the Mango Fashion Show which shows the winter collection of 2014/2015. The collection exists out of a lot of black clothes, which isn't surprising for a winter collection. It's also a little bit fancy, which fits Mango because it usually is a little bit fancy yet mainstream and reasonable priced.

Going to the zoo

I was browsing through Nelly when I spotted these leopard printed sneakers. They're on sale and now € 41,95. The sneakers are Superga. I really like the animal print, even though I wasn't that big of an animal print fan before. Perhaps because of these sneakers I changed my mind. Animal print doesn't have to look tacky, but I think if has to be in moderation. Wearing an all animal outfit print can be a tad much. Then again, whatever floats your boat. Fashion is something personal and the most fun when you experiment. But I'll be sticking with wearing not too much animal print.

Outfits of the week: Week 28

My sister had her graduation this week on Tuesday, I worked a lot and I had another interview for my research paper. Aside from the graduation ceremony, this week was pretty much like the last few weeks. But at least I can work extra now, which I really enjoy because it means more money. More money means shopping! It feels like it has been weeks since I last had a shopping spree, but realistically, it wasn't that long ago.

New collection of River Island

There is a brand new collection of River Island at Nelly. That's what I read in their newsletter so I decided to check the brand out. I like the clothes, though some of them are a little bit more on the pricey side. But I spotted a lot of summery items, bright colours, floral patterns, skirts and dresses. Perfect for these summer days and nights.

You know my love for Nike Roshe Run by now if you follow my blog. I was thinking about buying the Roshe Run in black and white, since they're easier to combine. Then, I can wear them more often. But when I was searching for the sneakers, I found these Nike Air Max Thea sneakers.

Ashley Benson for H & M

Sorry for the lack of updates. I kinda lost my inspiration. If you found it, please give it back :). But let's get back to business. Ashley Benson is one of the characters of the show Pretty Little Liars from ABC Family. Ashley is the face of the high summer Divided collection. 

Outfits of the week: Week 27

I went to Antwerp this week, had two interviews for my research paper and went to lunch with a friend. In general, I ate too much but sometimes that's so good. I just really like food.

He looks like he wants to escape, but he wanted to be in the picture again since it had been a while (I think).

Shoplog in Antwerp

I went to Antwerp yesterday with a friend. We had a blast, ate so much food, walked a lot and we bought a lot of clothes! We chose the right weekend, because the sale (it's called solden in Belgium) just started. There was a lot more sale than in the Netherlands, which is always great. But the city and most specifically the stores where filled with people. There were long queues at fitting rooms and at the cash register. But luckily we stayed in a hotel so my friend came up with the idea to try on clothes in our hotel room and return them if they didn't fit the following day.

New articles at H & M

Now the sale is getting towards the end, the fall collection is coming soon to the nearest stores. But for now I still spotted new items at the H & M webshop which are very much summer. Though I spotted some sweaters and cardigans, but those can be very handy on chilly days.

Nike Dunk Sky High

I wrote about the Nike Dunk Sky High before and I'm surprised I didn't add them to my sneakers wishlist. I know I just bought the Esprit wedges which really remind me of the Dunk Sky High. Nevertheless, I saw the Nikes for less than € 70 at Zalando. Quite the difference, if you think they're usually around the € 100. It's a shame these red ones aren't that cheap.

Fall collection Primark 2014

This time I want to show the fall collection of Primark for 2014. It has a lot of fluffy items and a lot of coats, which can be good for the fall. But I have to admit, the collection doesn't really appeal to me. Then again, a lookbook doesn't show the whole collection. It's just a selection. So I hope the overall collection will appeal to me. If not, I probably will spend my money in other stores. 

Pajama pants

I was checking the sale at Nelly and saw these amazing printed "pajama". I own pants in a similar style and I think they're amazing. I have only worn the pants once, but I want to wear it asap. Especially when the weather is good and it's warm outside. The pants are comfy and very airy. So not a good combination when it's winter, but definitely when it's summer. These pants are now on sale for € 18,95.

Peplum top: Hot or not?

I mentioned peplum before in this shoplog. I found a cute top at Primark, but when I tried it on I wasn't convinced. I really want a peplum top, but I don't want to buy one for the sake of it. I really want to like it. Here are three peplum tops I really from H & M.
